When did you get your 3D/4D ultrasound

Just curious

I can't wait to get a good view of the babies in 3D/4D.

I went at 17 weeks but to get a better picture, I'd wait a bit - especially with twins. With my son at 16 weeks he was chubbier than these little ones so the pics were better. However, if you want to find out gender, 16-17 weeks is good. You have to check with the place b/c they sometimes have policies on when they'll do gender checks. My first place was ok with 16, but the second said 17 weeks. It's so awesome to see though either way...I loved going

We are planning on doing ours at 21 weeks, so DH family can see the babies. You can check with the place where your planning on going and they could tell you the best time to do them.

We had ours at 26 weeks which was amazing. You can see the faces and really tell what they are going to look like!

the lady at the place here said we should come in around 17 weeks with triplets, but I am just "afraid" that they will be so small and not as photogenic

My Dr likes to do them every time I go in. Every room at his clinic has a machine and he loves to use them. The first time I saw them 4D was at 8 weeks and they looked like gummy bears. Does any one elses Dr provide DVD's of each ultrasound??

I just had my 3d/4d ultrasound at 28 weeks. The place I went to will do gender determination at 18 weeks or later, but they recommend if you want to do a longer session to come in later in pregnancy when the babies are more developed. Your photos are better that way. We had to go in twice. I went once last saturday, but the babies were both spine up and they could get no shots of the babies' faces. We went back 2 days ago and they got good pictures of both but they were head to head so it was hard to see their full face. Even got one of the little girl with her face between her legs. I have all the pictures posted on my space and facebook. If anyone wants to see just search for me (sabrina dewitt) and I'll add you. They told me with twins they didn't like to do the 3d any later than 28 wks. Otherwise they are too crowded and you can't see much.
