Twins movement

Hi!

I am just curious when you usually start to feel twins movements. One of the books I read said with twins you usually feel it earlier than singletons. This is my first pregnancy.

I felt first movement at 20 weeks. It was very little thumps...but SOO amazing! It was just once or twice a day at first and became more and more.

It really depends on a few things. Whether your placentas are anterior or posterior is one thing.

I started to really feel regular movements at about 19 weeks. Now, at 23 weeks, I can tell when they are sleeping and when they are awake. It's the coolest thing ever.

I felt flutters from 18 weeks and by week 20 I started feeling them kick

Its the best thing on earth!!

I started feeling flutters around 17 weeks. I'm carrying very small right now though, so that may be why I'm feeling them early.

I have one anterior and one posterior placenta with my twins and still don't feel any kicks. They are both moving around in there on the ultrsounds but I just can't feel it. It is VERY frustrating so I hope you feel movement very early! Both my OB and Peri say not to worry when they get bigger I should be able to feel the moving through the placentas that are making a littls cushion all around them.

(Also, I was about 20 pounds overweight when I got pregnant and have heard that thinner woman feel movement earlier)

I felt pokes at 16 weeks but only on the left side. Think the placenta is on a position with my little girl that makes it hard to feel her because I see her moving on US also, but no feeling yet. The boy however is kicking up a storm now at just about 18 weeks.
I found out their genders at 17 weeks - went to an elective ultrasound center ;-)

IWantToBeAMommy~ I think I read a post that you said u had your IVF in China? Please forgive me if I am incorrect about the post. If u did have IVF in China why did u go there and was the cost cheaper than the USA? Were u scared to have treatment at first out of the country?

Hi Baby Blessings!

I did have IVF internationally (Asia) however it was not in China. I was not scared about having treatment outside of the US because I had a cousin who had a baby from the same doctor/clinic. She now has 2 little boys from overseas IVF.

Twins are a miracle

I prayed for one and got 2!

I always joked that I wanted twins and my wish came true.

Lots of people do IVF and become pregnant with one. It is up to God to grace us with how many children we will become pregnant with.
