what week did you deliver fraternal twins

I am 35w3d with fraternal twin boys. Just wondering what week you delivered yours? I have a scheduled c-section for 38 weeks and am hoping maybe they will come out a little sooner! OB feels they are happy and will more than likely stay put! Of course I want to do what is best for them and will keep them in until then!

I had a scheduled c section at 38 weeks. They were 6 lb 13 oz and 5 lb 4 oz.

Good luck and enjoy the rest of your time with them in your belly!

Good luck
I was preg w/ fraternal b/g twins and delivered at 37 weeks and 2 days...they were 6lbs 9 ounces and 5lbs 15 ounces...it was scheduled delivery and ended up being c-section. I had restricted growth on one twin so they scheduled my delivery...all came home 3 days later.

I was induced at exactly 36 weeks due to pre-eclampsia/HELLP syndrome. They were 5 lbs 4 and 5 lbs 3 oz.

It really is to your/their benefit for them to cook for as long as possible - mine had problems regulating their temps and nursing was REALLY hard - they had a lot of probs latching/staying awake.

35w - an emergency section. They were 4.9 and 3.9, even though the u/s said both were over 5lbs. At 38w, your two will do so much better feeding - it's tough, but worth it if you can get some weight on them. The 37w mark is a biggie - they do better with the suck/latch reflex. The bigger they are, the better they'll feed, and the more sleep you'll (eventually ) get.

Thanks ladies. I know the longer they stay in the better and of course I will keep them in until 38 weeks if they stay in. My Ob is not one to do a section or induction early unless there is a real reason. As long as they are ok he will have them stay in until 38 weeks. We are keeping a close eye on baby A though as he is measuring smaller than my other baby and he is very cramped for space. I have another growth u/s next week and if he is not doing well they will deliver me.

37w3d g/b twins by scheduled c-section. I have a clotting disorder so I was scheduled a week earlier than normal. They were 6lb6oz boy and 5lb12oz girl. They had no issues. I had a hemorrhage (so much for the clotting!) and needed 4 units of blood.

Congrats and good luck!
