2 Sacs, 1 Heartbeat - any chance for the second?
I am recently pregnant and had my first u/s yesterday at exactly 5weeks post ER (or 7 weeks as the pregnancy calendar goes). We saw two sacs with fetal poles but only 1 heartbeat. The second (with no heartbeat) measured just a few days behind the first. Is there any chance it could just be a slower developer and the heartbeat will appear at my next u/s (two weeks)? Has anyone out there experienced something like this? Thank you!

If the second sac is measuring behind, you will more than likely see the HB at the next U/S. It is still early and some will say too early to see HB. I know, it is tough waiting, but hang in there.
