Anyone having trouble breathing?
23 weeks with twins.. and I'm having a hard time getting a good breath of air. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? What should I do? I am so uncomfortable not because of the babies, but because of the shortness of breath. I'll try anything.

Sophia,
I had a hard time with not being able to breathe at the end of my pg. What brought some relief for my diaphragm as well as my back was to get down on all 4s. Let my belly hang down and allowed me to get some air and took pressure off my back. I also would get down on my knees and lean on my hassock. Hang in there.

I had trouble for a short time (around where you are now) - what the problem was is that one of the babies was lying horizontally across my diaphragm. I was actually getting dizzy when I had to drive (which helped me at the time - I was driving a lot for work and when I told them I was getting dizzy, they instantly agreed to let me change my job duties so I didn't have to drive!). Then the baby moved down (head down) and I felt much better. Hopefully this is what's going on for you - have you had an u/s lately?

I've had trouble for quite some time with breathing and lightheadedness. The mw and OB chalked it up to the extra burden of growing 2 babies and the expansion of our lungs sometimes doesn't catch up to our bodies' needs.
