    My Boys Are Here!!

    Hello to everyone!
My update is a little late because we were in the hospital for a little longer due to my issues, boys were ready to go two days before me!
I was scheduled for a csection on 2/21. I had lots of last minute things planned for 2/20. I woke up on 2/20 with my water breaking!!!
    I was 36w 6d
Off to hospital which was an 1 1/2 in rush hour. Loving labor pains in rush hour traffic!!
As luck would have it my Doc was already at hospital and there was a noshow csection (that was strange). So they got the boys out at 1210 and 1212. When he first cut me open he said "There is a Baby C!", it was a joke and not one I found very funny all tied down and what not.
Well my big boys came screaming. Trenton Neville was 6lbs 3oz and 19 3/4 inches. Quinton Alan was 5lbs 14 oz and 19 1/2.
The scored 9 when they were born and looked good. They were in the nursery with no NICU time. The were immeadtely good eaters and took to the 3 hour schedule (which they now do not want to do at home!!).
No jaundice. No other issues other than R ears need to be retested for hearing. I got very lucky I feel with these two little ones so healthy.
As for me the csection kicked my ass. I had no idea how painful it would be. Even with pain meds I was very painful. A lot of the pain was my bladder disease that I have though. I then stared with high blood pressure and fainted once they think from anemia. So I was in the hospital a while. The boys were with me when hubby was there and when he wasn't they were in the nursery. I think the nurses think I am awful because I would not take them without my husband. HELLO I could not get out of bed and was staying because I fainted when I got out of bed and they wanted me to care for two newborns by myself!!
Also nurses everytime I wanted pain meds did a pain interview thing to see if I was really in pain. That is annoying at 300am with sharp pains and aching everywhere. Finally I said take my heart rate if it isn't high I won't take the meds. It always was though.
So that all, my boys are tough and I am a wimp.
First night home is over. Dad let me sleep and when I woke up they were now on different schedules which had him waking up every 1 1/2 hours. So he was fired for night duty alone for now. He was on clean house, cook food, go to store and bring me babies as I lie in bed duty today. He did great!
I can't believe how much he loves them already, he is so caring and talks to them lots.
Thats all from me, I will go read everyone elses updates now!!
    Tracy.

Wow Tracy, congrats!!! : That's funny you fired DH from solo night duty. He must just hate that. He sounds super sweet about the whole thing though and taking over for the first night was a stand-up thing to do! What a pain (literally) about the c-section recovery! And how annoying those nurses were. It's like, what do you think I'm making it up!?!?! What do you think I'm in here for, a spa week? Oh well, your boys sound just fabulous -- congrats again!!!
