How far along are you? 8 weeks today

Weight gain? only 1 pound (and that is questionable depending on the time of day I weigh)

Daily water intake? ... Since I am new I have a question as to why you track this? my doctors have not told me to increase mine any more than usual?

Appointment updates? u/s 10/7 showed 2 hb each approx 150 next appt 10/24

Symptoms / changes in apperance ? still have swollen tummy from OHSS, RE says by the time it goes down everything will have shifted and I probably will not see a change I will just go from swollen to showing

What are you doing to prepare for your babies arrival? I am still trying to cope with the idea of having twins

Pictures anyone?? [/B] I tried to scan my u/s picture but it turned out terrible

Weight gain? 30 pounds !!

Daily water intake? I am so bad at this part. I do dribk lots of milk

Appointment updates? u/s on 10/7 showed each baby girl at 3 pounds each

Symptoms / changes in apperance ? Carpal tunnel...OMG hurts so bad, largew round belly, no sleep, hungry

What are you doing to prepare for your babies arrival? I am washing bedding, clothes and packing a hospital bag.. try to stay calm

Other? Due 12/25 but dr says around Thanksgiving.

How far along are you? 22 weeks

Weight gain? 20lbs

Daily water intake? alot...water and calcium enriched OJ

Appointment updates? u/s Oct 14 hope to see what sex baby A is baby B is a boy. I also hope they can finish the structural u/s since lasttime I was only 18 weeks.

Symptoms / changes in apperance ? Belly is big. I am as big as I was with my son at 7 months. Went to ER lastnight because of sever leg pain (I was worried about dehydration because I am Ill right now with the flu) but Dr. diagnosed Restless Leg Syndrome. Let me tell you it is not fun! Very painful.

What are you doing to prepare for your babies arrival? Searching for ideas for the nursery and strollers.

Other? Starting to realize I am not superwoman...lol. I need to hire a cleaning lady this week and put my energy toward my son and husband.

Weight gain? 33 lbs

Daily water intake? Lots and lots!

Appointment updates? Had an u/s today; Baby A is 3 lb 13 oz, and Baby B is 4 lb 14 oz.

Symptoms / changes in apperance ? Feeling pretty big now, some sciatica, sleeping poorly, minor swelling.

What are you doing to prepare for your babies arrival? Mainly need to pick out and order cloth diapers. Almost ready!

Other? I've focused for so long on getting pregnant, then staying pregnant, it's amazing to start shifting my focus to being a parent!

Pictures anyone?? I've tried to post pictures, but I always get a message saying the file is too big.

Weight gain? -8, making progress finally!

Daily water intake? 64+

Appointment updates? OB, High def u/s, and fetal cardiologist appointments at end of Octobe

Symptoms / changes in apperance ? Sciatic nerve pain, otherwise doing great where preg. symptoms are concerned. Belly is finally getting higher.

What are you doing to prepare for your babies arrival? Cleaned out all the closets, baskets, drawers, cubbies, etc. in the kids' rooms & bathroom, and bought bunkbeds so we can put the kids in one room and FINALLY start the nursery!

Other? Getting anxious. Hard to believe the babies are getting to a point that they could survive outside te womb. Could it be that far along already?!?!

Lisa,

Water is really importaint in any prenancy, especially a multi one.It carries water to your babies blood & drinking a lot helps reduce the risk of UTI (common in pg). It also helps prevent & treat constipation (thereby decreasing the risk of hemorrhoids.). Also, it sounds funny, but the more water you drink the less water your body retains. Since multiple mom's often have trouble with swelling & preeclampsia, drinking more water helps to keep that at bay. During the third trimester in particualar, dehydration can cause contractions that can trigger preterm labor. So, drink, drink, drink your water!!

How far along are you? 11weeks, 6 days

Weight gain? None yet, but my belly measured 13 wks preg at my appointment today, so my belly is growing!

Daily water intake? Not sure, but drinking LOTS

Appointment updates? Had one today. Babies are doing great! We had an u/s, which was more to check my cervix, but we took a look at the babies, and they're great. We heard their hearts beating, and it was the most precious sound!

Symptoms / changes in apperance ? Belly is growing, starting to see veins in places I didn't before….

What are you doing to prepare for your babies arrival? Not much….still very tired, but it's getting better!

Weight gain? 20lbs----way too much, bed rest, combined with nausea eating. Used to run everyday then did nothing for 3months (doctors orders0. Feeling fat and guilty

Daily water intake? Tons

Appointment updates? Level II ultrasound went great, two little boys! AFP drawn and nuchal scan in 2 weeks

Symptoms / changes in apperance ? Big belly, face, butt and arms.

What are you doing to prepare for your babies arrival? Just bought bedding!!! Wanting to wait as I feel like it is too early, but the set I wanted just went from $179 down to $115--couldn't wait!

Other? Still on Zofran, but it is working much better.
