Carrying low

I feel as though Baby A is very low and occasionally his or her kicks/punches feel really awkward and uncomfortable, not to mention that there is some serious pressure on the old bladder. I am a little concerned that the low weight could affect my cervix. Can anyone relate or does anyone know anything about this?!? Kelly, 29w + 5, non-ids

When I was pg, baby A (dd) was always lying low - she constantly kicked me in the bladder and bowel (OUCH!) - It never affected my cervix, but it is truly uncomfortable.

My baby A is also low and when she kicks the bladder I am in pain. She also kicks the cervix and rectum area. I had my cervix checked on Tuesday and it was great, so all that kicking isn't going to make my cervix budge. Hang in there.

Me too! I look in the mirror and it's like looking like a really low watermelon or something. Very uncomfortable. One of the best things I bought was the belly bra at JC Penny. It's so much better than those strappy harness things and lifts up the lower belly. I'm wearing it right now. Highly recommended. Literally, hang in there! I think we're about running the same amount of weeks.

I'm 30w2d, and my lower baby has been kicking my bladder and cervix for a few weeks now. I've had weekly cervix checks and have had no changes.

I doubt it's anything to worry about, but it may put your mind at ease to check with your doctor anyway.

Sounds like I am going to have to get myself a belly bra! Thanks for the advice, Kelly
