Hi Ladies,
I hope you don't mind me posting this question here. I just needed some insight, because the curiousity and wait is driving me nuts. Just some background on me first: I just got the news this past Monday that we are pg from my first DIUI cycle. No meds, only HCG shot (severe male factor). Only "appeared" to have 1 mature, but small, follie at 18mm. Here are my beta# results so far. I have my 3rd beta on Mon (21dpiui) and 4th on 28dpiui. Beta #1 14dpiui = 319 Beta #2 16dpiui = 849 I have to wait until March 9th for my first u/s because my RE is on vaca. The wait will drive me nuts! Question. Are my beta #'s so far on track for a singleton or is the liklihood twins?? Thanks!

I'm having twins, and my betas were:
11dp3dt - 113 14dp3dt - 539 I have seen people with higher betas than me only be pregnant with a singleton, and lower betas be twins. Unfortunately you're going to have to wait until the u/s..it's just about as agonizing as the 2ww for the pregnancy test! Good luck! Sally

I agree with Sally you just can not tell with beta numbers. My numbers were 200 at 12 dpt 400 at 14 dpt and 16 dpt they were 1800. I think that is what they were it is funny because as time passes I can not remember those numbers but I can remember how much the babies weigh.
Congrats on your pregnancy

Mine were 55 at 11dpt and 75 two days later, 150 two days after that and I forget the rest. It all didn't matter to me after that. I was pregnant!!!! YAY!
We even surprised our RE and nurse when we saw our two transferred babies heartbeats at 6 wks. ![]() Congrats! |
