I hope I can ask a question here. RE: miscarriage

This has been on my mind for sometime now, I hope that someone here can give me an answer.

If what I think happen; did happen. It happened in the first month. I did not miss a period, if I remember correctly. So I would like (hopefully) someone with the close to the same time period as what I did. Like I said in the first month.

While I was cleaning myself, my privates to be exact. Something come from me. I have never seen it before and I have never seen it since. While I was looking at it, it slipped out of my fingers and down the drain.

Could someone please tell me in detail. What a confirmed miscarriaged baby in the first month would look like?

Sorry for upsetting anyone with this question, but like I said this has been on my mind for quite some time now. I don't know of anyone else that could help me. I would like to know if I miscarried or not. I have asked a doctor and they brush me off, because it was in the first month. BTW we were TTC.

well, I had a natural miscarriage at 9w and I can tell you, when I passed it, the pain was intense (like labor) but the baby itself wasnt really detectable...it was like a large clot, roundish..about the size of a golf ball (maybe a little bit bigger but not much).

I have to agree with Mare....I have had 3 m/c at 6,7 & 8weeks. They were all like large clots (tissue) and the bleeding was heavier than a period.

Thanks for your answers.

What mine looked like was round but not like a golf ball. It was about the same size around as my thumb but not round like a ball, it was long. Maybe about one inch to inch and a half long. It was greyish in matter, it was solid mass. It was not like a blood clot that might slip though your fingers. I was able to hold it until the shower water got it.

I am almost sure I didn't have any pain during the shower (when it happened) I don't remember any pain before or after. I also don't remember how my period was, when I got it. I am sure I didn't have my period during the day in question.

Does anyone know what it might have been if not a miscarriage?

I've had two miscarriages. My first was a very early one due to a short lp. I didn't really have clots, but it was heavier then normal and lasted almost two weeks.
I'm still waiting to naturally miscarry this baby.

I'm not really sure what to tell you? I hope you can find the answer to your question.

I had 3 miscarriages. The last two I was a lil further along than the 1st one. The last 2 I bleeded a lot and had very heavy cramping and my last one I was 9 1/2 weeks along and was able to see something.

On my first miscarriage - I bled for many weeks - but it was considered to be a tubal pregnancy so I had to get methotrexate shots. On my 2nd shot - I had gone to the bathroom and I had gray tissue like substance on my toilet paper. I couldn't make much out of it beyond that. But after I saw that - I felt pretty sure that it was from the baby as I had never seen that before. Right after that my HCG went down so I guess that was it. Sounds a lil like what you saw - /shrug.

My other two miscarriages were nothing like that but on the 1st one I really wasn't far along at all.
