Welcome back! I'm glad your move went well! Unpacking always takes forever.

I'm 20w4d now. We had our u/s last week & we now know it's a boy! He's measuring right on track for my due date & everything looks wonderful. He's kicking up a storm. Pretty soon my dh & ds will be able to feel him too. His kicks are getting stronger. I have my next checkup on 2/24.

Hopefully we'll decide on a name for this little guy soon! My dh had his tonsils out on Monday & can't talk now, so name discussions are kind of on hold temporarily.

Hope everyone else is doing ok!

Lori

Hey, welcome back! I know I'm in the minority, but I love moving!!!

I'm 20w3d today, and the m/s has FINALLY stopped (well, good enough, anyways). 19 week u/s revealed a gorgeous baby girl, measuring approx. 1 week ahead of schedule (so did dd, who was a chunky 10 lbs at birth, which was 4 days prior to edd). This baby's big sister is THRILLED that it's a girl, as is her daddy. Her name is Wyatt Olivia.

Otherwise, all is well. Thanks for the chance to update. And CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR BOY, LORI!!!

Ladies,

I am so happy to hear from you.

Teddybear - I am so glad that everything is going well with you and your little boy. How is your dh feeling? Has he been eating lots of ice cream? That is so neat that your ds is so excited. He will love it when he can feel his baby move. I say his baby because he will claim him. Please let me know how your appointment goes this week.

playitagainsam - That is good that your m/s is better, that would be awful having it at this point in your pg. It will be interesting to see how big this little girl will be. Because she could be bigger than her sister. Your little girl will be claiming the baby too. When is your next dr appt?

I am so excited for you both.

Congrats on your girl Jessica! I'm glad your daughter is thrilled about her baby sister! We're having so much fun with our ds talking about his new brother.

Logan has already claimed this baby as his. We've been referring to the baby as ours (the whole family's) since the beginning. We've been noticing that Logan has dropped the "our" for "my" much more often lately! Which is just fine with me!

My dh is doing much better now. It was a very long first week. He was totally miserable! At the moment, there's not much in our freezer except for ice cream. That & applesauce is about the extent of what he eats. His coworkers had a delivery service bring 4 different kinds of ice cream to our house yesterday as a surprise. My ds was so amazed & excited that someone would actually bring ice cream right to our front door!

I'll let you know how things go tomorrow! I had to take my wedding rings off yesterday. First time in almost 10 yrs. I was getting puffy. My mom checked my blood pressure & that was normal, so I guess I'm just bloated or something.

Hi Everyone,
My first time on this board. I am having a rest cycle miracle. I have a 2 1/2 year old son. We tried to conceive again when he was 4 months old, well wasn't working. So we started seeing an re in July. Because of my age (45 at that time) They agreed to try injectables with IUI. After 3 failed cycles, They found a cyst on overy and said just relax that month, it was small and should go away on its own. Well surprise, surprise the first month we did not try I got pregnant!!! I am currently at 27 weeks 5 days, and all is going well. I had an amnio so I know I am having another healthy baby boy. I will be 46 1/2 when he arrives on June 24th (scheduled c-section) Good luck to all of you.
Hugs Patty

Hi

I am a conquerer of 2nd IF, my dh and I have a 9 year old dd, that only took 3 months to conceive well in 98 we tried again with no luck so I got a job then officially in 01 we started again. Thought it would be a piece of cake, wrong, went to a couple of RE's did numerous amounts of treatments, IUI, IVF etc, spent $$$ on St. Patricks Day found out I was pregnant on my own, totally shocked. I am due 11/14 saw the hb last week, my RE says I am 7 weeks, on the net they say I am 9 so hopefully I will know more next Monday when I go in for another u/s. I tell you I always shrugged off the people who said forget about it or don't worry you will get pregnant, well I believe them now. I was living my life as a mom of one, got a job, started losing weight. The only thing I didn't do faithfully was take my vitamins, my poor baby I do now, but before I just said why bother? Funny eh?

Take care,

Amy
