Beta # & Progesterone # questions

Hi All -

New here to this board, thrilled and scared. Wanted to get your advice on my beta #'s and progesterone #'s. Here is my story:

I believe I o'd on March 1 (cd22)
Progesterone cd23 = 3.3 (March 2)
Progesterone cd31 (9dpo) = 21.8 (March 10)
+hpt on cd33 and cd34 (March 12/13)
Started progesterone suppositories on cd33 (March 12)
Beta#1 = 165, progesterone 49.9 (cd35, March 14)
Beta#2 = 484 (cd37, March 16)(more than doubled)
Beta#3 = 1510 (cd39, March 18)
Beta#4 = 5690 (cd42, March 21)
Beta#5 = 6791, prog 24.2 (cd42, March 22)

There was a mixup at the lab, so that is why I had Beta 4 & 5 back to back.

My question is really for beta 4&5. If I assumed doubling from the 1510 it should be at least 3775 for #4 and 6040 for #5. Beta 4 looked really good, but the gap b/n expected #5 and actual #5 is a lot lower (even though still doubling). Is this okay? Is it slowing down? Sorry, I am just so paranoid due to our loss in September.
Also, shouldn't my progesterone be more than 24.2 on suppositories??

Any thoughts? Thanks so much to you all. Wishing you all happy, healthy pg's.

Thanks -
djkfer

First let me say CONGRATULATIONS! I can imagine how happy and scared to death you must be. I lurk over here to check up on you ladies and to pray that I get to join eventually. Anyway, my RE told me that Beta #'s do not rise consistantly after hitting 1000. My Re won't even recommend doing b/w for betas once I hit 1000, he only does it to keep me sane but he does give me that warning. I think your #'s look great and I'll be praying for a nice long boring 9 mos for you!

Hugs,
Tricia

Congratulations!

It is my understanding that suppositories don't affect your serum levels but are absorbed directly into the uterus itself. I have luteal phase defect so I'm pretty aware of my progesterone levels. I think your numbers look fantastic!
