Hey there. I wanted to see if anyone has experienced low fetal heart rates early on and gone on to a successful pregnancy?
A little about me. Found out on Wednesday we were expecting twins. I was 6 wks along. Baby a measuring 2 days behind but hb of 110. Baby b measuring a day behind and hb of 96. Next day, yesterday, started bleeding. Ended up being a sub chronic hematoma. Checked the babies again. Baby a didnt grow and hb of 80. Baby b grew and hb of 100-110. So baby a is now struggling. I know we don't want heart beats below 90. So I feel as if I'm just waiting to miscarry now.
Anyone have experience?

Nicole- sorry to see you so worried. Truth is, there nothing you can do but wait. Believe me I KNOW how hard that is. BUT, keep this in mind. Often times, RE's are not looking at them that early just for this reason. Sometimes the heartbeat isnt even visible in the sixth week. And think about in the "real" world, those ladies dont get to see their littleones until much later. I personally feel like anomalies happen all the time, but they are just not noticed because the docs arent looking most of the time. I think when they (the docs) give doom and gloom it is just because they want us to be prepared for the worst. But also, I think they dont see these things happen as often as they really do. Miracles happen in the uterus, think of the whole process in general. And I say all this probably giving the impression that you will think I am against western medicine, but not true, I am a R.N. myself. LOL I just know that somethings are out of all of our hands and even with not much hope the greatest things are possible. Just look at my little guy! We had lots of little things happen that made the docs advise us to prepare for a loss.
I wish I had something else to offer, but in the end, there is nothing left to do but pray and hope and cheer the little one on. But I would not at this point give up hope, not even for a second.
When do you go back?

Tysa thank u for the input. U r rt I need to just hope and pray. I haven't stopped praying. And yes often times drs don't find these things so early. I wonder and hope maybe the hematoma may be affecting the baby and once it's gone it'll be ok. My mind can't help but think baby b may not make it in the end too. But again all I can do is pray for a miracle.
I go back on Wednesday. Long wait! Not easy when I'm not supposed to be doing much.
