Stargazer: You made me laugh about carrying it around! :-) I feel ya though! Those got dark pretty fast - twinsies? I hope!
Yolanta: Ok - being on both baby aspirin and lovenox, I'd be surprised if you had zero spotting. Brown is not anything to worry about - especially in the quantity you described. I know seeing any blood is scary as heck!
Symptoms? I had a pretty mild preg w/my daughter. Never puked. Had a wee bit of nausea for a few weeks and food aversions. i had been eating mostly raw vegan and ate a HUGE kale salad every day - then bam! The idea of kale made my stomach cramp up. Anyway, with my last preg (that I lost) I had none of that. The docs assured me that that wans't bc I lost the preg. I just really don't get much sickness. I feel blessed - though I do agree that some would be a bit reassuring. So every preg can be dif. I def know some moms who weren't sick at all w/their first and veyr sick with #2.
This time. I am having bloating and mild cramping (though it's mostly at night and I'm guessing it's from my suppository I put in before bed). I've had a few strong cravings but no sickness or aversions yet. Those didn't start until somewhere between 6-8 weeks with my daughter anyway. Oh and frequent urination for sure. Nothing very exciting over here. LOL.

Cindy - I forgot about the food aversions. Nothing specific yet, but I just don't want to eat even though I'm hungry. Love it. LOL.
yes, the tests darkened up quickly. They are darker than tests w/ previous cycles, but IU had betas by now with all but my first. When I look at them, I actually laugh, especially knowing I was freaking out.
I'm silently suspecting a 3rd set. Only the u/s will reveal the truth. I scheduled it already for Feb 29th.

Yolanta - I am so sorry as I imagine you're frantic right now. I, too, have heard that baby aspirin can cause spotting as it thins your blood and I don't think that brownish blood is uncommon in early pregnancy. As for reddish blood, I hope that it is just some spotting, which is still common in early pregnancy from what I've read. I'm praying for you. I know you must be so worried and the worst case scenarios are running through your head, but I hope it's just some spotting. I hope your beta tomorrow alleviates your fears.

Stargazer - Oh, I know about testing like crazy, haha ! I know I said I'd stop .. but every few days, I'll pee on one, but they all look exactly the same now. As for symptoms .. still nothing. I do get tired more easily and I am a bit bloated, but no bigger tatas, no food aversions, no puking, nothing ! Though I hear past six weeks that may change ...Me: 31
DH: 27
Dx: Unexplained Infertility

My doctor's office just called me back and they have reassured me a bit. The nurse said it would be "very rare" for someone to have such a sky high beta at 8dp5dt and then have a miscarriage the next day. She said that it is most likely irritation from the cervix from the suppository or left over implantation bleeding. I am going with her scenario. She said my beta tomorrow will tell us alot.

Since work quieted down a bit, I've spent the past half an hour googling, hehe. They say around 30% of women will bleed in their first trimester and unless you are cramping heavily or bleeding more than your period that it's not usually a sign for concern. I'm glad your nurse was able to reassure you and I hope we'll see a nice high number tomorrow.

Yolanta: I think that it's still so normal. Panic inducing, but normal. My spotting around my beta was not brown to begin with - it was a redish purplish color - then turned brown. This is really probably to be expected on Lovenox! I even knew a woman who bled heavily enough that she used tampons (didn't think she was prego) and had a healthy pregnancy/healthy baby. And she wasn't even on blood thinners and had never bled with her first 2. I'm thinking good thoughts for you!

Hey ladies!...and DHubby
I am feeling ughish tonight. I don't know if I'm coming down with something or not...feels like flu symptoms, just what I want to deal with right now! GGGGGRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Anyhow, symptoms... I'm starting to have nausea, aversions (I had a peanut butter cup today and after I chewed it up and swallowed it hit me! Maybe not such a great idea! Ha!) oh well, I just needed a sweet snack heehee! Still exhausted to. And you guys up there aren't the only ones still doing tests! LOL! I couldn't resist, so I bought a couple more today on my way home from work, and then was shocked when the line went positive so fast and so dark! who would have thought-a positive test huh!?!? Haha! Hubby thinks I'm crazy, but he was tickled when I text him the pic...
I hope you are feeling better about things Yolanta...I've read a lot on spotting in the beginning being completely normal also...I know the ladies mentioned that earlier, but if it were me I'd want to keep hearing it
Lots of great wishes for your beta tomorrow.

So sorry Yolanta. I bet you're dying. I'm glad you got some reassurance. Curious though. Did you call your OB office or your RE office? If it was RE you would have had to tell them you were sneaky and got a beta on your own. Ha ha. I can't wait to see what your number is tomorrow.
