    pg naturally after infertility

Hello everyone! Just wanted to share my story. In 2006 was pregnant once naturaly and lost the baby at 12 weeks. We tried to get pregnant again and it took a couple years of frustration before moving on to IVF ICSI. We were blessed with the second go around with twin boys, now age 2.5.
Just took pregnancy test becasue i noticed my period was late, and guess what...
    IM PREGNANT!!
2% chance of ever concieving naturally and by total surprise not trying, im around 5-6 weeks now.

Very nervous of being pregnant naturally as my history of natural pg int great. This is completely different because i have to wait until 12 weeks to get first scan instead of with ivf early. lol so trying to hold it together, but very blessed to have this opportunity even though we hadnt planned on it.
    We will see what happens.

Casey-Wow Congrats!! i can relate to your story, the same happened to us. Except treatment never gave us a baby. We actually got PG on our off month between cycles, with less than 1% chance of a natural PG. Crazy things gong on out there. LOL

I know the wait for an u/s can be intolerable, but try to stay positive and calm. I KNOW that is easier said than done. But why 12 weeks, I thought most ob's would do one around 8 or 9?? Either way, it will be good

And how neat that your boys b'days are on two different days. Now that argument of who is actually older is moot. LOL

    Congrats Cassey!

I am also pg. naturally after being given a 2 percent chance -- just did 12-week exam and all went well but I still can't stop being nervous.

Cassey - congrats! What good news - a miracle baby. And you must have a very interesting story about the twins birth, to have two different birthdays!

The boys were born at 1137pm and midnight. Owen is my midnight rebel and still proves to be my rebel. Lol
They were 6lbs each with two placentas. Had natural birth but they broke my tailbone pushing so hard. So not looking forward to another possible broken tailbone. Haha. Also had toxcemia 4 days after birth I was getting ready to leave hospital with boys and bam feet swelled before my eyes and sever headache. Stayed 2 more days and almost stroked.

I am in a very similar boat as you! Only I have twin girls that are 2 and just found out I am pg naturally. We were never given an actual percentage of our chances of conceiving on our own, we were just told slim to none. But based on my history I get my first US on Monday! I am guessing I will be about 6 weeks along by then. My first beta (done on Tues) was 3400 and my second one done on Thurs was 7900. So the numbers look good. But it's going to be a long 9 months. I think after going through infertility it's hard not to worry about every little thing. And my twins were born at 28wks 4days, so that just adds to the stress! Maybe we can help each other through this scary journey!

Waiting- my twins are 3.5 years old and my natural miracle is now 3.5 months old. She is doing beautifully and growing fast. Once you handle twins you can handle anything after that lol.

I noticed after I had commented that the post was a year old. Lol! Thanks for replying anyway. So we're you able to relax and enjoy your pregnancy?
