Regarding sleep: Koen sleeps from about 9:30-7:30 and Brody goes down at the same time until anwhere from 4-6am, he nurses and goes back to sleep for another 3 hours. I get plenty of sleep FINALLY!! I am not looking forward to sleepless nights when they get teeth coming through.

They had their 6 month check up today! Wow how time flies!! Koen is 18lbs 8oz and Brody is 16lbs 10oz. Both boys are 28 inches long. I have some big boys

Jcy--That is great that you are running! I love to run. I don't get much time to do it but I try to squeeze in at least 30 minutes a day.

Heather--I am so glad that it is getting easier for you! I guess everyone was right

Sandy--That's great that you get to stay home with Emma for so long. Your dinner sounds yummy...I want some

Keri--My goal for bf'ing was 6 months too. We made it! Since I am not going back to work I think I will just keep doing it as long as my milk is still coming in. I only do it about 4 times a day now but I like doing it. The morning is my favorite time because they wake up so happy and smile at me while they are eating

Diet--I don't know if you saw my question but I was wondering if your son was still getting a helmet??

Christina--Sounds like you have some good plans for the holiday...I hope it is wonderful. We all have something to be very thankful for this year

AWE! You ladies are AWESOME! Thanks!

So, Santa will be here in the 12th of Dec! ARGH! I wanted to take her photo next sat! BOO! Well, I hope the Italians celebrate St Nicholas' day on Dec 6th and have a St Nick to Photog with! My parents, well, my dad went shopping and got Sophia a REALLY cute dress with a bollero and tights and shoes! She will be SO cute!

Tonight at dinner Sophia ws in the highchair, happy for over 45 minutes! But she started giggling and cooing at EVERYONE in the restaurant! She squealed at us! It was the FIRST time! I told my dh, this is the FIRST time she has EVER done that! He says, oh nice, its cute. Then she did it again and he looks at her and she SQUEALED! He said, how long has she been doing that?! I told him, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME EVER! He says, OH WOW! We just laughed! She did too! I can't believe how FAST she is growing up!

Heather! I hope he takes the time off! He just might surprise you! make sure you let him know HOW important it is to you. naybe he cold take 6 weeks too, kinda split the time, not a full 2 months, but more than 4 weeks. You know, find a good compromise. You are doing ALL the hard work of growing your children, and the aches and pains, him taking time with the new baby would be a GREAT present to you for all of the discomforts and heartaches of being away from your new little one.

Diet, thanks! I will make sure to check with you before I go placing anymore orders form Childrens Place! I really appreciate your kindness!

Amanda, YES! you do have some big boys there! But BOY ARE THEY CUTE! Yes this is a VERY thankful year! RUnning for 30 minutes, NO WAY!

Julie, 3 miles on Thanksgiving?! Maybe walking, but RUNNING?! Let us know how you do! I bet you win!!!
Ok, off to cyber shop! I hope to find a few items.... its not as much fun when you can't touch things!

Amanda, OMG, that picture is the cutest -- what a smile! I'm glad you're still enjoying bfeeding. I am, too. I'll be sad when it's over :-( Good luck with the helmets! And what great sleepers you have! If they go to bed at 930, what time is their last nap of the day?

Keri--Thank you! They usually take a nap around 1-3 and then they take a short nap around 6 or 7 after they eat. Then they have their last bottle at 9 and sometimes fall asleep during the bottle but sometimes not. I can put Koen in his crib awake and he will put himself to sleep. Brody is a different story...we have to rock him to sleep or he will scream forever in his crib. Sometimes he will wake up right when we put him down and have to rock him again. We just decided to put his crib in another room so that if he does wake up and cry, we can leave him there to "cry it out" and not wake Koen up. I think we will keep them in seperate rooms until he learns to sleep as well as Koen. So we are still struggling a little with sleep issues with Brody, but not too bad....I can't complain.
