Assisted Hatching + Embryo Glue!?!

Hello All,

I'm not pregnant yet, but I would like to ask a few questions to see if any of you can help. I am about to do IVF #2. ER is scheduled for October 26th. My RE wants to do assisted hatching, baby aspirin, and embryo glue on day 5 blasts! This man is really trying to get me pregnant and I'm not complaining! I just was wondering if any of you had any experience with Embryo glue and what was your outcome?

Thanks.

Hi Kim,
My gf did the embryo glue and the embryo did in fact implant. I asked my RE about embryo glue and she said it can be used, but doesn't make a difference. Your uterus is like a peanut butter sandwich she said. Whether or not the embryo wants to stick is up to the embryo itself. I never used it - my first IVF was bfn and my 2nd one resulted in a live birth 8 days ago. Good luck to you!

Hi!

I didn't use embryo glue with our last transfer, but I do agree with the previous post about the uterus being like a peanut butter sandwich. That's how it was always explained to me, too. Once the embryo is transferred, it doesn't move around that much because it's kind of "stuck" in the uterus (like in peanut butter).

Good luck!
