Thanks for starting the new October Thread Carla- I TOTALLY spaced yesterday!

Speaking of yesterday it was our anniversary! It was fun got a babysitter from my babysitting coop and Rob and I went out to dinner at our local Asian Restaurant, we got all dressed up appetizers and wine it was really fun!!

Had a GREAT day with the kids today, nothing special went to a park the kids took a GREAT nap (they have been napping craptastically lately) so a 2 hour nap is glorious and Isaac slept get this 3.5 hours and we ended up having to wake him up! DH came home and we loaded everyone up in the stroller and went for a walk and then took everyone out and went on this awesome hike up rocks and the kids did AMAZING and didn't want/need any help!

NOw everyone is in bed and Rob went to the race track to watch the cars run so Im watching Say yes to the dress and the other new wedding show on tlc!

hope you're having a great start to Oct and have fun weekend plans

YES HAPPY BDAY Caleb and Sofia!! Hope you're having a GREAT day

Had an easy morning b.c a friend from my coop came over and watched Madeline and Isaac whie I took Jake to his language evaluation and he did great. HE was borderline in a lot of areas but was deemed that he didn't need therapy but I got some good suggestions on how to help him andwill go back in 3 months if he's not talking more and using at least 2 word sentences! All in all a success!

off to close my eyes while everyone is napping!

Erica, I bet he'll be fine. He'll have a language explosion and you'll wonder why you ever worried. Totally! All kids are different, remember. Your kids are TALL, btw. Mine are like 32 inches only! Wow!

Here are some pics from the pumpkin place last night.

Oh good news erica. Your dinner the other night sounded fun! jeaolous!

I agree with Mer- will happen overnight. I think Caleb is talking more than sofia now for sure. today he told me Mama, sit down here!
he does 3-4 word sentences just the past 2 weeks now...Sofia does 3 words here and there in a sentence
Kids bday and their party at our house was Sat. 10/3

lol. my kids have been bossing me around for what feels like forever. "Mommy lay down" while pointing to the middle of the parking lot. LOL. "Mommy go this way", "Oh no! It's upside down!" pointing to his jammies. It's just crazy! My neighbor came over yesterday and was like "HOLY crap! Do they EVER stop talking?!" They seriously do not shut up for even 10 seconds. EVER! Esp in the car-- OMG. I need headphones! It will happen soon enough, Erica, and then you will not be able to remember them EVER being quiet!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 yr appt today. They ran out of flu shots and we don't have h1n1 vax here in MN yet. Bummer! They are going to FREAK when they see the needles. It's been sooo long since they've had a shot, I think they've finally gotten over their fear and now THIS! Sucks.

Happy Birthday Caleb and Sofia! The party looks like it was fun What presents did they like? I see the vacuum cleaner in a lot of shots - were there two of them? Oh, and I LOVE their cakes!

I'm totally undecided what to do for Colin's b-day. I'm due on Nov. 10th and his b-day is Nov. 7th which is the Sat. before. If I plan something and then go into labor he won't have anything. I'd rather do something earlier but the Sat. before is Halloween. I guess I could do it on Nov. 1st. I'll be so big and uncomfortable by then I won't feel like dealing with it though. Any suggestions? Oh yes, and DH's b-day is Nov. 6th so I have to squeeze that in at some point.
