Aliese,
I am so sorry you are having to be stressed out by this right now. I can't believe that they can find this so late in a pregnancy. I pray they are wrong. Keep us updated.

Ailese~

I'm so very very upset to read what you are going through right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will keep my fingers crossed for you this Saturday. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

I have a amnio scheduled tomorrow at 5:30 AM. I will keep you posted on how that goes and what to expect.

Hugs for you and your baby girl

Michelle

Ailese - I'm so sorry that you've been given this distressing news. I'm thinking of you and your DH and hoping that things will resolve for Simone and/or that they were wrong when they saw the hydrocephalus on the u/s. Hope that you are holding up ok.
As for the amnio (this is for you too Michelle!) I had one at 17 weeks and it wasn't that bad. Not that either of you mentioned being nervous about it, but to have another medical procedure (regardless of how big/small) can be stressful. I know that they are doing the amnio for a different reason at this point (lung maturity vs. looking at chromosomes) but they do it the same way. It sounds way worse than it actually is - and after going through all of the needles for IVF the amnio needle probably won't phase you one bit. Anyway, I'm thinking of you guys and hope that all goes well.

Thinking of all of you lovely ladies - take care :-)

Amnio

Ok still waiting very VERY patiently for the results. The fluid came out really cloudy and bubbly.....which Dr. and nurses all stated was a very good/promising thing. As for the procedure it wasn't bad at all. I was very nervous and kept my eyes closed tight. They did it at the very top of my belly to the largest twin guided by ultra sound at Labor and Delivery with my Dr. which helped to set my mind at ease. It didn't hurt just a a lot of pressure and then mild cramp when the needle hit the sac until it came out......42 seconds. (Yes i counted!) (You were right on, Sad about IF) So of coarse the hospital has no beds for my kiddos who could need level two nursery. So now we wait for results which BETTER be positive and a time. Tomorrow is my moms Birthday so that would be awesome for everyone. We have football practice tonight so I guess No babies for me

It was so weird not toting my son to school this morning due to having to be at hospital at 530. I think the 3 day seperation is going to kill me :P

I wonder how Tess is doing. Im sure her babies are beautiful!!

Aliese...still thinking about you.

Ladies~ Hope all is well for you.

Michelle

Oh, Michelle! Sorry.
It's a bit weird that the lungs are not ready...you are almost full-term, right?
Of course, the doctors always want to keep the babies in there for as long as they can They want us to carry them till we are 42 weeks LOL
So, what now? Oh, you did not talk to the doc...
Ok, please relax and wait for your doc to tell you what's next
And let us know.
