Cupid Club September Thread

Happy September Ladies!!

Oh and what kinds of toys are your kids playing with these days? All my kids are playing with are stuffed animals, matchbox cars and pushing stuff around the house.... maybe thinking that alot of their current toys are too babyish. We were THINKING of gettting them a play kitchen for xmas but then I worry that instead of playing AT the kitchen their just going to drag all the play foods and kitchen stuff all over the house which will DRIVE ME NUTS...

thoughts suggestions...........

We have a toy kitchen from a friend that we keep outside. The kids make sand a grass mud pies in the kitchen. DD and DS both like it. Right now DD loves bandaids and my make up - not what I would choose for her toys. If the bathroom door is open, she is going through my makeup or trying to paint her toes. And she tries to point out imaginary owies so she can wear bandaids as fashion accessories. She also likes small stuffed animals and just generally running around.

And I agree on the terrible two comments - my DD is going through it too. She has her moments when she is so witty and cute. And then she has her moments where she is a three headed tantrum monster. It is just the age.

Mer - I am using OPKs to predict when ovulation is and we are going to pop them back in 6 days after that (since they were day 6 blasts). I will just use projesterone suppositories and that is it for meds. Sounds like you have a great schedule planned! Want to take my DD for a while so you have something to do during the down time?

Laura - Congrats! You are in the 3rd tri!

Anyone have fun plans for Labor Day? We are camping Friday-Monday.

Hey guys,

I am just loving my life right now. Terrible 2s are over and things are good! THAT was not fun! I'm sure just cuz I wrote this-- they'll come back but whatever, this last week has been GREAT.

And they've been doing 7pm to 7am and 3 hr naps. WTF?! Heaven.

That is sooo exciting Brandie! I cannot wait to have you join the twin club!!

Erica, we're getting a kitchen, train table w/ the whole train setup, and I got them each a pair of UGG boots and then whatever anyone else decides to get them. I hope no one buys me clothes cuz the closet is exploding already. I have a shopping problem.

What else is new?

Sparkly- what did you do today?

Holy Moly Mer--great sleeping finally huh. we are doing like 730pm to 6amish...still better than before. awesome on the naps too. we are like 2 or 2.5hrs usually...

we have had a play kitchen - step 2 kind from last bday and my kids play with it everyday - its in their playroom. they are also LOVING and so good at puzzles. sofia is so into it and so much better than caleb
my mom is getting one of those outdoor play houses because caleb is obsessed with the doors opening and shutting the windows. we need to get sofia a real stroller and a shopping cart.

erica- good that yours love stuffed animals--we have tons and mine never do anything to them but step on them!

I am just so busy now in Sept and Oct its insane. we have like 4 kids bday parties, we do 2 jewish holidays, BIL anniversary, nieces bday, kids bday in oct, other things....just lots of gifts to buy and places to go. I am SO not ready for the COLD weather. its already been like 40s here overnight. WTF
