Shady Grove Graduates
I thought I'd start a thread for all the Shady Grove Chicks who have graduated from their RE to an OB/GYN.
This may be a more...what's the word...appropriate place to discuss the sensitive issue of pregnancy than in our favorite infertility cycle buddy thread. Hopefully all of our SG Chickies will be here very soon!

I'm thrilled you girls popped in! Shys, I can't wait for your graduation!
Jen, like I posted earlier, I've posted in different pregnancy threads and no one even welcomed me, so...we'll make this a welcoming & friendly place to be. It will be awesome when all our friends get their BFP's. |

holdon-- not sure why no one replied to you. sorry to hear that. There are only about 6 over in the feb board, not very very active.
But I will be glad to hang out with you here! ![]() How is everyone feeling? I am almost 15 weeks. still tired and I have a bit of nausea still too. But I just found out that my iron is low (so going on supplements--I was like that with dd too); and I have a UTI so I started antibiotics last night---joy joy...hopefully I will start feeling a little better once I am done with the medicine. |

I think the boards on FT have been super quiet lately which is kind of a bummer because there are so many things I don't understand and want to know about, but not a lot of people hang around...
holdon-are you due in Feb or early March...the March board seems to be pleasant if not very busy... I am waiting for the day MS goes away and I can hear the heartbeat on the doppler so I can stop freaking out with worry......ps I feel super fat lately

Jen, I'm due 2/20. I had posted all over the pregnancy board, but it's as dead as a ghost town. That's another reason why I started this thread, because we have created a wonderful support system, and after my BFP, I've felt really alone.
I definitely didn't think it would be appropriate to be discussing my new issues on the old board. Such as these headaches I get every afternoon are killing me. I don't know if I should continue taking the Tylenol everyday. Ya know? I know when I was TTC, if I read about the...inconveniences of pregnancy, I'd give anything to have MS, headaches, hot flashes & hemmoroids. At times, it felt like a slap in the face. I still feel like I need justify my reasoning for starting this thread. As far as MS...I'm sorry to tell you, but I haven't really had it at all. I gagged once on some raw spinach and again while eating a hotdog. In the very beginning, I felt like I was going to throw up one morning, so I ate some crackers. Then I pulled out the sheet that SG gave me to help combat it. Did you get one? I learned that healthy snacking (for me it was usually a cheese stick & an apple) stopped it in its tracks. Anyway...gotta run for now. Hope you're all doing well today. |

holdon -- You really don't need to apologize for starting this forum -- its a good idea. I am on a Yahoo IF group and we went through exactly the same thing a few weeks ago. Decided that it was fine to post BFP's and pg updates on the IF list b/c everyone is friends and wants to hear good news, but if you have a question specifically about being pg then ask it elsewhere. So this is a good place!
I do have a question... I have had very little cramping, just twinges here and there. But, sometimes when I roll over in bed or cough or sneeze (esp while lying down), I get these really sharp, but short, pains right where my hip bones stick out (or would stick out if I didn't have so much padding there LOL). Anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned? |
