Shys- congrats on the healthy twins! Can't see the pics yet?

Holden-- it is excited to buy all the furniture isn't it? I don't have much to buy this time around other than some clothes and some blue things like blankets (lots of pink and purple here). We purchased a toddler bed for dd, and ds will go into her crib. I am looking forward to pulling some of the things out of storage, like the bassinet.

We are going to pick out paint this weekend. Our kids will be sharing a room, so we are picking something somewhat neutral. right now the room is actually dark blue (used to be a guest room, and we never painted it when dd came along). I am thinking a light sage-y green, or sea glass blue so it should match both their bedding.

Anyone have their nursery planned out?

Shys! Your avatar is so awesome!

We're moving to NY in December (baby's coming in Feb), so I have no idea what we'll be doing for a nursery.

Hi everyone...I'm 6w1d today and just had an ultrasound at SGF. I'll hopefully be graduating next thursday, which will be 7w3d. It's definitely twins! Baby A and Baby B both had heartbeats of 115. Now I'm starting to research OB's and high-risk doctors in Northern VA. If anyone has a suggestion or tips for finding a dr, please let me know!

I'm started to feel excited =)

That's exciting that a few of you are decorating your nurseries now =) And Shys, your picture is great!

I started on my nursery...It's storybook themed. So, I got the Dr. Suess sheets from Pottery Barn & if it's 2 girls, I will do a yellow/turquoise color theme around it. Not sure yet if it's both a boy & girl

Thanks Shys! I am super excited about the twins. I did have a little bit of nervousness about it last week and now I'm getting used to the idea. I wasn't expecting it at all.

As for how I'm feeling...I'm definitely starting to feel a bit of morning sickness. I haven't "gotten sick" yet but my stomach has felt unsettled for days and I have serious food aversions. I'm also extremely exhausted...I know that's normal, but it's really hard to function throughout the day at work.

Most of all, I'm just happy to finally be at this stage =)

For those of you who have had morningsickness, when did it start/end? My sister told me she had morningsickness all day from week 5 - 14. I'm hoping I don't have that much!

Amy- with my dd I was done with most m/s by about 10-12 weeks.

With this one, it is still here and I am 22 1/2 weeks....it is amazing how different it can be.

I luckily didn't get daily m/s but instead I got random 12-hour days where I got sick every single hour of the day & thought I was dying. Then, wa-la it would disappear!

Well, I'm off to my OB appt. & then, the Bahamas afterwards...Have a great week & I'll read up when I return!!!
