Hi Everyone -

Back from our last big planned summer trip. They were the best of times & the worst of times, as the saying goes. We did some fun stuff, loved the beach & the pool. BUT I had a horrible flu for the first 4 days - thank god the rest of the family seems to have avoided it. And then Delta totally screwed up our flights getting home - we were supposed to leave at 2 on Friday - they cancelled that flight & moved us to 7 on Friday. Then thunderstorms started rolling in & after 2.5 hours at the airport we finally gave up & got a hotel for another night. Went back at 2 the next day for our 3:15 flight - which didn't leave until 4:45, then had to wait in Atlanta for 4 hours until our 9 pm flight finally left at 10:30. We didn't get home until 12:30 - which was like 2:30am in the time zone we were coming from. Terrible - worst flying experience of my life. The kids were good, considering how long it was. DD was running around like baby on energy drinks every time we walked into the airport.

I will try to post some pics & update more in a bit!

Nope on the show - my reality TV addictions are Biggest Loser & American Idol, so just waiting for the next season.

AHHHH I just looked at the Omega 3-6-9 vitmain I was taking and it says Not recommended for pregnant or breast feeding women. How could I be so stupid and not look at the info on the label before? I feel like such an idiot. Did anyone else take an omega 3 supplement?

Hi
Nope- never took those, sorry Mickey!
brandy- your pics came out great. sorry for that horrible flying experience. I wouldnt needed a sedative!

busy over here. back to another work week cant wait for Fridays as usual
nothing new to report here. my kids are 22 months TODAY! still doing the early rising thing. sucks. bedtime is still about 730pm.

we go on vacation to Maine 8/19. kinda of nervous for it to be honest.
hey guys- how many times are you guys offering whole milk to your kids now? just curious- do u keep track? just trying to see what you are all doing.
Mer- how do you take the boys loveys to places and not worry that you will lose them? my kids each have a lovey they NEEd but I dont dare take it out of the car when we go to stores etc. it stays in the house or car at ALL times...caleb has a small teddy he LOVES and Sofia has a bunny that she loves!

Carla- I offer milk at Bfast, Lunch and Dinner, JAcob hardly drinks any and has never been much into milk and Madeline drinks 6-9 oz at each meal!

Have fun in Maine, I hope it goes well and I can TOTALLY relate to you feeling nervous about it ,I am always nervous when we disrupt the routine and are away from home-

Mer- how are you- zoo pics look like fun!!

brandi- great pics from your trip!!

Today was miserable, everyone is in bed and I don't know whether to dig into the ice cream or the vodka.... (kidding of course but OY )

That looks like a lot of double stroller action at the zoo Mer!

Sorry it was a rough day Erica. Tomorrow is a new one....

Carla - My kids aren't big milk drinkers and neither are DH or I. We do a lot of juice, water, propel. I have tried giving DD milk a few times but she won't drink it. I have just given her whatever is around the house - usually 1%. She still has one bottle a day of formula though. Trying to kick that habit in the next week or two.

We started another round of swim lessons today. DS is doing so well & will be swimming by himself by the end of summer. DD did mom & tot with me - she was the busiest one of the group!
