Here are some pics from the trip - Shutterfly was being kind of screwy, so I just put a few together quickly....
http://hobanfamilypictures11.shutterfly.com/51 We are going to our friends/neighbors down the street in the evening for a 4th of July party/BBQ. In the morning I am doing a 5K & then staying to watch the parade with the kids. I LOVE the 4th!!! I will probably do some of the parachute guys & smoke bombs for the kids in the afternoon. What is everyone else doing?

GREAT pics Brandi - Your 4th of july plans sound great. We;re going to head to a nearby park with a friend of ours whose husband is deployed and they are suposedly having a bunch of kid friendly activities (bouncy house, mini golf, food, etc....) then we'll put the kids to bed at normal time and hang with our next door neighbors and then wake them around 9ish when our neighborhood will ERUPT with fireworks...
ps Where IS everyone this board has been so quiet the past few days, hopefully it means you all are out having a good time with the kiddos |

Oh and DH and I are doing a 5k that morning too! We'll be quite a sight with DH pushing the double Bob stroller and me pushing Isaac in the single! You should see us when we go for our walks/hikes It's like a BOB convention we look like quite a force walking along the trails and paths!

Good morning girls. Happy July!
I cannot believe summer is half over. Unreal. Things here have been okay. The boys were at my dad's all day yesterday so that was GREAT! I got some stuff done. Good for you guys doing a marathon. LOL at the site of you w/ all of your kids and strollers, Erica. That is awesome. Fourth we're spending at DH's uncle's pool. I am not keeping the kids up late tho. Just not worth it when they still wake up at like 5 am. Ugh. Here are some pics from the past few days. We're going to the zoo today, should be fun. http://share.shutterfly.com/action/w...AaN3DRwzaOVEKc |

going to a 4th of july playgroup thing at nearby park today hopefully kids will be good and not whiny/clingy etc.... poor isaac is all stuffed up but seems to be in a good pattern of going to bed at 8pm, waking around 2:30-3 and then sleeping till 6:30 or 7. |

Hey ladies. I miss ya'll!!!! I have not been to FT in sooo long. I will need to go reread for the last month and catch up on everyone and their summer's. Still no job for DH, other than a part time gig loading boxes on the UPS truck from 4:30 - 8:30 in the morning. From civil engineer to graveyard shift laborer. Unreal. It's getting scary.
We are all good, hot as heck. Swimming in Grandmas pool alot, library story time, playing in the backyard alot. Parks & playgrounds when it's half bareable outside. Had a HORRIBLE time with molars for the last few weeks times three. Some days I didn't even know if I could do it. But we got through. I sent some updated pix to Meredith yesterday and I hope to get them on Shutterfly to share w/you. Did a weekend trip to my parents lake cabin, kids loved it!! Brandie & Meredith, looked at your links and wow! After not seeing your kids for a couple of months, oh my gosh they are look so grown up! Happy 4th to all. I SO wish we all lived close and could celebrate together. |

Hey - we have been busy getting ready for this weekend and the next week. My best friend from FL will be here monday with her daughter. We have a playgroup 4th party tomorrow, and fireworks tomorrow night. I will keep the kids up to see them!! On the 4 th we will be at my grandmother's pool cooking out. Hey if you are looking for floats for the kids look up puddle jumpers on Target website. They are awesome, I found mine at Walmart for $15.
When Steph gets here we have all kinds of plans, taking the kids to a waterpark. She is flying home on wednesday and her daughter is staying till friday and flying home by herself. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!! |

Hey Mel! Welcome back. I looked at your pics. It looks like you guys all had a great time. Good for you! I would LOVE it if we had someones cabin to go to. And at least DH has a job, albeit VERY part time.. Gotta do what you gotta do. What time does he go to bed at night to wake up THAT early? Ugh. Don't be a stranger, Mel
![]() Erica, sounds like Isaac is getting the sleeping figured out, huh? What about napping? Is he still asleep most of the time?? Is having one baby MUCH different than having twins?? What is it like?? Do you hold him all day or what goes on?? I'd like a visual.. Sounds like you're doing really well and also sounds like your older kids are doing AWESoME with the new baby. Well.. get this: When I take them to the zoo, I don't use the stroller. I let them walk with me the WHOLE time. They can't see anything when IN the stroller so I just said "screw it" and they just walk. So far, so good. Of course, my kids are not runners so that's not a concern. We LOVE going to the zoo. I think it's probably their favorite thing to do. They LOVE talking about all of the "poooop" in the bison cage. They ask me to clean it. Soo funny!!! BRandie- GREAT pics. I agree. She is getting SOOOO big! Sparkly, your weekend sounds totally fun. How old is the little girl who's coming to visit? You're lucky cuz your kids go to bed later- like 8, right? Then it won't be such a stretch to keep them up. Awesome! Enjoy!!! Happy 4th. Going to the Zoo again.
