Finally off PIO- How do I get rid of the lumps?
Hi ladies,
I had my last PIO injection yesterday morning and, while nervous about not having the extra support, I'm thrilled to finally be done! I was wondering if any of you have suggestions re: how to get rid of the lumps left behind. I've been laying on a heating pad, which seems to help with the discomfort, but the lumps remain. Does it just take time? Does massage help? Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks for your help!

I used massage after the shots, heating pad, followed by more massage. I ended up with very few lumps. In order to take care of the remaining lump, I used a heating pad followed by alot of massage. I really think it helps to disperse the meds.
