Weird places (airport, etc) you injected (IVF, etc) yourself

I ventured back to the IVF boards tonight and always wondered if anyone else had weird places you injected (IVF etc) yourself stories.

One of the weirdest for me was the day I left for Asia (for my IVF). It was the first time I had to do all my prep work standing up with absolutely no space to lay out the things. I remember holding something in my mouth while I was injecting myself while listening to the sound of people flushing the toilet. I later realized I could have done it over at the sink area then in the stall by I thought I might look weird and get called out by homeland security!

Man that was a crazy day. We actually got there early but due to problems with my tickets, we actually were the last people on the plane! The people on the plane were not happy to see us. Sorry!

Plus I had those delightful potty break to inject myself. I was afraid they might see that in security and not let me in.

While at work, in the bathroom. I did mine over the sink and dared anyone to say anything. A close friend/co-worker came with me to help block me from everyone's view. Thankfully, noone ever came in .... maybe the word got out so people stayed away.

Dh injected me (IM HCG trigger) in a restaurant bathroom. He tried to keep the door shut with his foot, but someone still walked in! Probably thought we were getting high!

Oh, in my car too many times...I always felt like a police officer was going to tap on my window one day and arrest me for possession!

In a dark movie theater...I don't recall what movie it was, but I didn't want to leave and missing anything, so I just injected my belly right there. I don't think anyone saw me...

LOL! Well, I have done it at work in a busy ER and in a bathroom at my salon..another time my hubby injected me in the parking lot of a Claimjumpers restaurant. He insisted it was getting dark enough that noone would see, but they all stared lol.

I think for me the best was injecting on an airplane 15,000 feet in the air in the bathroom only to hit turbulance and ended up with a large bruise on my stomach not to mention stabbing my finger.

Ouch! Sticking the finger is always way worse than the tummy for me lol. The butt takes the cake though..those PIO shots were just the absolute worst for me. Thank goodness my dh was willing to do them for me.

(7 weeks ultrasound) 05/07/09 Baby on the right was dancing. Baby on the left was sleeping. LOL (9 weeks ultrasound) 05/28/09 Doctor said they are really active . (12 weeks ultrasound) 06/03/09 Twins still sitting on top of each other (13 weeks ultrasound) 06/11/09 2 little boys! (14 weeks ultrasound)
