Cupid Club May Thread
OMG it's May already..... here we go with another month, anyone else feel like the months are just flying by even if the days sometimes drag.....
Mer- I found all the probiotics at "sunflower market" and they have a whole probiotic section. It's similar to a whole foods if you have one of those nearby... or any "health" food store would have them. I just mixed about a half a container in with her milk each time I filled up her milk sippy cup b/c I knew she would never drink it straight. I also found some probiotic granola bars that they both really like! Today is rainy and chilly, and they both have coughs and runny noses so it looks like I'll be loosing my mind and staying home all or most of the day! Kill me now. IF IF everything is on time DH will prob be home around dinner time... OY What are you all up to today? Any big weekend plans. It's supposed to be cold and rainy all weekend YUCK but then nice from Tuesday on next week so at least we have nice weather to look forward to- Have a good day ladies

Morning Erica, yes the months are definitely flying by. You're due soon right? I can't believe I'm in my 2nd trimester already. Last time I remember sweating every single day and now I'm much more carefree. DH keeps saying how much better a natural pg is. I don't care how hard the last one was now that we have DS but he is definitely right. No progesterone shots is especially nice.
Sorry the kids are sick AND you have a rainy day. Try to do a new activity with them to break things up. They do a lot of painting at day care which amazes me since Colin never comes home with paint on his clothes. We have to go to the car dealer and try to get my keyless entry fobs to work. Should be interesting trying to talk to them about it and contain Colin.

Im not due till the end of May (another 3.5 weeks or so) but yesterday and today I THINK he's dropped which I have heard thru the grapevine and from my doula usually doesn't happen until right before labor with second babies b/c your uterus has already been stretched out but I think its just an old wives tale and I don't even know if he's really engaged/dropped or if his butt (which has been causing me tons of rib pain) has just moved lower. regardless im happy to not have the rib cage pain even if its only temporary
ok im officially bored--- hmm a project maybe thats' what we need- they're beng really good hardly any whining, playince nicely etc.. so i shouldn't complain |

Neanie, that's FANTASTIC!!! Good job! I bet you'll have a good number on day five. Wow! Do keep us updated. I remember waiting for the report on fertilization and then day 3 and then day five.. Soo exciting!

Neanie - that's GREAT go mamma go
I can't remember for the life of me if a 2 cell embie is good on day 2 after ER but if the nurse says that it looks good for a 5 day transfer than I'd say it sounds like all is going GREAT!!!Rest up for the transfer Mamma, all our fingers and toes will be crossed for you ![]() What's everyone up to? Another cold and dreary day although they have changed the forecast and tomorrow looks like it's going to be nicer so I think we may venture out to Costco to do our monthly costco shopping today since it's so icky out. What's everyone else up to? |

Way to go neanie! Yes, 2 cell on day 1 is good. You want the cells to double each day and they should be 8 cells by day 3. If a bunch of them are still 8 cells they will probably wait for a 5d transfer which is great! Congratulations and best of luck to you!

Neanie,
Great! I never knew cell cts just that they said they'd call me on day 3 if we "needed" to do a three day transfer, ie. if they were not looking soo great at day 3. Never got the call so we tx at day five when they were hatching blastocysts! You'll totally go to day five girl. REST. Positive thoughts. I'm soo excited! I hope it's twins! ;0 Erica, i cleaned my house BIG TIME this morning and then KICKED my husband and kids out! I was soooo fricking sick of the whining and people up my butt while I was trying to clean that I WIGGED OUT on them and they ran away. i called and he was "walking around Target" LMAO! I guess he was scared shi*tless enough to get out! Anyway, house is clean. They're not here and I'm HAPPY! When they are sick it's like having two diablos on my hands. I fricking hate my life when it's like this. Ick. Watch them be sick w/ swine flu when he's in Italy. I'll take up drinking, i swear to God I will. |
