Anyone pg with 3BB embryos or less? (Thawed)

Both embryos survived the thaw and were transferred back. The big surprise though was that the highest quality embryo (4AA prior to freeze) degenerated the most (20% degeneration) and ended up being a 3BB at transfer. I was very disappointed because I assumed that was my best shot at a pregnancy. The one that was 3BB at freeze had less than 10% degeneration...so both ended up being 3BB. Dr said they were good, not excellent, but good. I asked the embryologists if pregnancies resulted from 3BB embryos and she said yes. I asked Dr what my odds were and he said about 50/50. I'm not sure what the degeneration means, although I do know that the thawing process is rough on the embryos. I guess I'm just scared because I was really counting on that 4AA to be my 'star' embryo and it ended up taking a bigger hit.

Has anyone had success with thawed embryos that were 3bb or less, per Gardener's scale?

Hi ladies- I was hoping to lift your spirits some. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant. I had done 5 fresh IVF cycles and this was my 2nd frozen cycle. I want to assure you that the embryo quality really isn't that important. I only had 2 embies make it to freeze, both were very fragmented- probably the ugliest ones I had ever seen. They did not give me a grade, but I'm sure it wasn't good.

I really think the key is to not get to worked up about it and try to forget that it was even done. I was always so concerned about success that that was all I concentrated on- and always got a BFN!! With this cycle, I just knew it wasn't going to work because of the poor embryo quality,so I just went about my life not fretting over it- and 4dp5dt, I had a stomach bug so before taking any meds I tested at home just to be sure- and to my surprise- BFP!!! I know how hard it is to relax and concentrate on other things when going through all of this, but I truely believe that is exactly what needs to be done! BEST OF LUCK TO BOTH OF YOU!!!!
