I wouldn't dream of taking Colin to story time at the library. He won't sit still for anything like that. We go to the library and he climbs on the furniture in the kids area or empties all the books out of the bins and puts them back.

Yes Laura, mine do the same thing.... but luckily there are usualy lots of other kids doing the same so it's ok.... if they get too unruly or if ALL the other kids are older we just head out early---

where IS EVERYONE today?

Hi guys,
I'm here. These guys AND ME are now sick w/ colds so I haven't been up to posting. Isn't it crazy how we (meaning Erica and my own kids) get sick at the SAME TIME but have nothing to do w/ one another IRL??? Sooo crazy!

I was just telling my friend who is pregnant now with number one that KIDs ARE ALWAYS SICK. They just are. There is nothing you can do about it IF you plan on existing outside of your home!!! And she is sending hers to daycare so I said "And just so you know, the first year is HELL for illness when in daycare."

She thinks she can AVOID IT! LMAO! I'm like "Good luck!"

The average baby/toddler/child has 200 illnesses by the time they reach Kindergarten. HOLY! Of course they're always sick.

Laura, try the storytime. ALL of the kids do what they want. It's just a good way to get out and meet other moms and kids. My kids like it.

I met a lot of moms there too.

Going to the MN Zoo this morning. The baby animals are here. I'm meeting my moms group there. Should be nice.

HUGS Carla.... I have been there and it sucks I feel like I am just pulling my head out of my "I cant take this anymore" cloud.... Just remember this too shall pass, could it be teething related? I know J has been super whiny lately as he's geting his molars in... I remember that Madeline was a TERROR and didn't sleep at ALL for a weekish when hers came in....

Mer, SO SORRY you're all sick. We are STILL recovering although finally feeling back to our normal selves (mostly) although everyone still has a little congetstion and cough--

HAve fun at the Zoo today Im so jealous that sounds AWESOME. I think we're going to go to the park if it warms up in time before lunch and naps or if not the grocery store and go to the park this afternoon---

Have a good day guys. DH is going skiing today so Im on my own till around 8.... no biggie though Im glad that he's getting to go with a friend of his whose deploying in a few weeks and his wife has a daughter M and J's age and JUST had a new baby and her DH is deploying for 7 months, can you IMAGINE id DIE.

ok off to go put laundry in the dryer my kids are quietly playing by themselves with books and have been the entire time I've been typing this post, it's a miracle.... thank god they're getting a bit better I hope they can keep it up=-

Hey ladies-

Erica and Mer I hope the kids are feeling better.

Carla- try to put the kids down later maybe that would help.

We eat about 6:30 and play hard after dinner and then they are ready for bed between 8 and 8:30.

I have been busy I've taking over the role of organizer for our playgroup.

Have a nice weekend!!

Ugh, Mer, that is horrible that they're puking. I think I would throw up myself if Colin started - I've had all day m/s with this pg. I hope everyone gets better soon.

We went to the gym today and Colin did great at the day care there for an hour. That was my first "workout" in about 2 mos. This afternoon we are going out to buy decorations for my brother's 50th b-day party. It's going to be black and gold and we're giving him $50's in cash and gifts inspired by the year he was born. Should be fun!

Erica, glad the kids are feeling better. Carla, sound like you're in a living hell...hang in there. It has to get better from here right? In the meantime try to get some help so you can get out of the house alone. It does wonders for your mental state.

Mer-- sorry!! I hope your guys feel better soon!

Erica--glad to hear you and the kids are feeling better!

Carla--sorry about the kids being difficult. I find all the things that the kids go through come in stages.

Laura--enjoy your brother's party!!

Yesterday we had a better night with Preston he only screamed momentarily and came in and gave him his paci and covered him with the blanket and thank god he went to sleep.

Today Dh is home so I decided to take the day off (just had tiny little evaluation this morning LOL). So we are going to H and M than to the car show , and than to French restaurant. I can't wait! Since my sister is dating a French guy he recommended this authentic french cuisine. I love escargot and brain . Tomorrow we are having another kid's birthday party--not looking forward to it. Just hope they behave better than last time. On Sunday I am making passover dinner and catering to 12 people.

HI all

Mer sorry now zoo, how are the kids now? puking? I havent seen my kids yack yet w/ sickness but I am sure that will come soon! Must be so hard to see them feeling that way

Sparkly- yeah I really COULD do a later bedtime BUT I really think their "clock" would still wake at god awful times -like they do now...Caleb has this thing w/ waking at 5am EVERY MORNING. I go in - give binky--and he goes to bed....for like another 45 min or an hour. sucks. my kids literally sleep like 7pm to 545am....wtf.

Gina- some different types of food you like huh? have you cooked brain or just bought it at restaraunt?

Laura--so cool on the gym thing! you go girl, dont you feel so good after working out?

ok ladies. be back soon...enjoy the rest of Friday!
we have RAIN ALL DAY Sat/ go figure! sucks.
