Nik- My c-section is scheduled for April 7th. Thanks for starting a new thread.

Gena- I am glad I am not the only one going crazy with all these contractions and cramps. I just can't imagine having this go on for 8 more days. I have an appt on Tues at 38 wks so we will see what the OB says about it I guess.

Calley- I am glad the little guy is doing good and I hope the breastfeeding starts getting easier.

3 more days till April!

Hi ladies - wow so much is going on lately.

Kaj - Congrats on the arrival of Molly!!

Sue - Congrats on the twins, glad all of you are doing well!!

Calley - Glad you are home and the little one is doing well. Sorry to hear about the complications and hope the b/f gets easier.

AFM, I went in today for my weekly appointment. Not much to report, I'm 1cm dilated and amniotic fluid is good. The baby was so active this morning, the dr couldn't get a good trace on the monitor. I had to stay hooked up for a half hour and we finally got a good reading. So I'll be 39wks on Wed and not much doing yet. Haven't had many contractions at all and just sitting here waiting, ughhh!! I got back on Thurs again, hopefully I'll have more to report then.

I agree......I am so over these B-H contractions. I called my OB this morning and asked to get a note to be taken out of work starting April 6th. I am so darn uncomfortable......and Grant doesn't seem to be making his entrance any time soon. I decided I just wanted to chill at home. Hopefully, I can get my note!

Went for my 38 wk appt today... PROGRESS! Doesn't mean much but went from a soft cervix to 60% effaced in a week. I had a totally different contraction this afternoon that I haven't felt before. Hoping it is soon, but I will wait until he is ready. The Dr. seemed to think he was about 8 lbs right now.

I will check in later tonight

Trish~ What did the contraction feel like? I don't think I've had any and am just curious. I've only had what feels like cramps (like I'm going to start my period). That, and the extremely painful pressure on my legs that makes walking difficult! Also, what do you plan to take the baby home in? I'm not sure if you saw that I tested pos. for group B strep...I told DH that I started this pregnancy with antibiotics, I might as well finish it with them too! HA!

I can't believe tomorrow is April! And it's snowing today!!!

Congrats to all the babies that I might have missed...they're coming faster now than I can keep track it seems like!!

lmohall - Hard to describe but will do my best, I actually had pain radiating from my back and around my uterus, even up high. It actually gave me the chills and a bit painful. I have had lots of the cramping too.. Usually with the BH, they were mostly down lower and nothing to do with my back.

I must have totally missed your post about you testing + for Strep. Did you freak just for a minute? Must be a MN thing, lol. So far I think we are the only two.

I packed a few sleeper sacks with the hand covers and 1 outfit just in case if we were going to take any photos. A few pair of socks and a swaddle blanket. I did pack a small blanket as well to put in the carseat if it is colder when we take him home. I think that is what you were asking

SNOW, SNOW go away and don't ever come back. I am so done, it has been a long winter

YEA for April tomorrow!!
