I have a Tummy Sleeve update, lol. I wore it for the first time last night and it's great! My dh laughed at me when I asked him if it was too tight...we both could fit in it if we had to . The only problem was that it kept rolling up and I kept having to pull it down but oh well, I have to be able to wear clothes. Oh, and I found a pair of maternity jeans on the JCPenney site! I really hope they fit because they are not petite but I figured beggars can't be choosers! And lastly, I just made a signature with a ticker, should I add anything else to it? I don't know the gender yet so I can't put that but I just don't want to leave out anything important. I just love Fertile Thoughts!!!

Hello,
I don't know about any of you but I am going crazy because I don't get to have my 18 wk u/s and OB visit until next Thursday. The closer it gets the more anxious I get. I haven't heard the baby since March 30th and that just makes me so nervous. I am going to ask my OB if she will see me every 3 weeks instead of every 4 because my nerves just can't take it! And this time it's a few days past 4 weeks because she wanted to make sure that I was the full 18 weeks before having my ultrasound so that's not helping anything.

So what's up with everybody else?

Hey gals!
Lots of belly band action going on around here. I live in sweats basically, so it's been no real hassle for me!! Noticing that my bra is getting a little tighter now, that's about it. A teeny tiny swell of the belly, nothing earth shattering.

Bexx:
I hope your dr will go for that. I feel terrible saying this, but after weekly visits at the infertility clinic, I'm looking forward to a little break.
My last progesterone shot is tonite and I'll be sooooo happy to say goodbye to all that.

Any of you gals experienced this. I just switched to a new OB. My first real test (the nuchal translucency) can't be done in that office. They gave me 2 dates, both of which I have to work. They said I have to go out to another dr and get it done. I was kind of discouraged being is how this is my first big pg test and I have to go to a third party. Can't get my b/w done there either. I'm just not used to this I guess.

BabyPrayers,
I have never even heard of that first test...nuchal translucency? What is that?

Oh I just looked it up. I wasn't offered that one but we declined the AFP and mutiple marker screenings. The only thing that we are concerned about is spina bifida and my OB says that can be determined by ultrasound. The only reason that we're worried about that is because if something would show up we would need a neurologist to be there at the c-section to avoid further trauma to the spine.

After all the talk of the Bella Bands and Tummy Sleeves here, I went out and bought one. I'm 12w and still wearing my regular pants, but I'm sure I'll need to unbutton them or move on to maternity pants soon and I think the Bella Band will help.

Today I had my NT scan--everything looked good. They will receive the bloodwork results next week and then will call with my risk assessment. It's still just so unbelievable to me that I might actually finally be having a normal pregnancy!

Still throwing up like crazy and constantly nauseaus. All for a good cause!

Linden,

So glad your scan came out normal!! That must be a load off your mind! Mine is on the 6th.

I wear such baggy stuff anyway it really hasn't been an issue for me yet. Sweats have good stretch!!

My whole digestive system just feels like sludge! I hear ya!

Enjoy the weather east coast ladies!! Beautiful!

Hi Linden,
I remember you from one of the other boards. Huge congrats on getting to 12 weeks!! I'm 4w5d right now & had my 1st beta today (1336). My RE wants to do another beta on Weds, and then an U/S next week. At what point do they discharge you? What are they looking for?

I have an OB appointment at 7 weeks, and can't wait to get discharged from the RE. If anyone else has experiences with RE-OB transition, please let me know. I hate getting blood drawn & am trying to avoid them double-dipping

Hey Gatina!!
Congrats on your new bean!!

I have recently made the transition from RE to OB. My RE d/c'd me at 10 weeks. That's pretty late though. Most people tell me that they got their papers when they saw the h/b.

I am not used to the lack of care at a regular OB. I mean we are used to being microanalyzed right? It just seems like the real OB is like "whatever". Still getting used to it. I am thankful not to be worried about cycling anymore. Not complaining about that!!

Good luck, keep us informed!

Thanks BabyPrayers09! Your comments made me realize I shouldn't "run away" from my RE right now. Today was my 2nd beta (2791, so it doubled) but I was gonna skip it & wait for my OB appointment. So I really appreciate hearing about your experiences with the RE to OB transition.

Thanks Linden - It's so good to be on the other side of the TTC journey!! Quick question: there really isn't a "due date" buddies group here. Do you belong to any other online forums?
