Cool! Sam, totally missed you had had good news. I swear between the bronchitis and the tummy bug, I'm completely out of the loop.

Enjoying a rare snowy Sunday here in the south. And we're all still feeling punky.

Emily

Sam.......congrats

Jenny.........how are you feeling?

I am in disbelief I have about 6 weeks to go. After 8 years of ttc, I never thought we would be so close to a baby!

Good morning,

So cool that Sam and T are here!! Yay!

Nik...I'm feeling okay, not great though. Mainly it is my problems sleeping...bad bad hip pain and it keeps me awake. So I am always exhausted and it is stressing me out. Other than that I feel fine! I am just 3 weeks behind you and I cannot believe it is so close. I get all teary every time that I think about it. Five years ttc here and the nightmare is almost over.

Robyn...how is your ear?

Thanks for the welcome.

Nikki and Jen - Isn't it a totally amazing feeling? I still get teary when I think about it. I never really let go during pregnancy, I was still a little worried that something could go wrong right up to the end. Not crazy worried, but a little. Anyway, I'll never ever forget that moment that they handed her to me and I started bawling. The doctor thought something was wrong with me...but I was just so relieved and happy that she was her (after 8 years!) I could hardly believe it was true. Geez! I'm sitting here crying as I write it...darn hormones.

Honestly though hardly a day goes by that I don't think about how grateful I am for her. I'm sure other parents are grateful for their kids too, but maybe they just don't realize how lucky they are to have the opportunity to be parents. It's a wonderful gift and blessing...a little crazy and hard, but sooo worth it!

Good luck!

Can I ask the mommies a question?

Does the paranoia ever go away? Bethany had a small bout of stomach flu Friday and I was a mess sure she'd choke to death in her sleep.

Sometimes I just can't believe, even now, that I really have her and still am waiting for her to be snatched away.

So, am I crazy? Don't be afraid to say i need professional help.

Emily

I think everyone hates when their kids are sick. I have a very hard time when she's heavily congested, but now that we've been through several colds and she's older I don't worry as much. I just crank up the humidifier and turn the monitor up to the top volume and we do fine. The few nights that I couldn't stand it I've tried to have her sleep in bed with me, but she's a little too wild for that unless she's totally asleep.

You're normal...sick kids just stink!

Emily- I'm with you on that issue Logan has another congested cough and I worry that he has silent pneumonia or something else more serious than a cough...I'm taking him in today after only coughing since Thursday but better safe than sorry.

I think we will always worry somewhat but I hope it gets better

Here's to having our little ones be healthy more than not....for their sake and our sanity
