Fluid, Wet Underwear and questions

I'm hoping some of you have some insights you can help me with. Sorry if this is TMI. For the last month or so I've really noticed my underwear getting pretty wet. I drink very little during the day, 1 or 2 glasses of water, which I know I need to get better at. I don't feel the baby tons either, but it's been a little better, and that always had me worried.

I'm now 26 weeks pregnant.

Anyway, I've noticed that my underwear gets pretty soaked at the end of the day and sometimes I'll have to even change during the day. I've also noticed is has a definite very strong smell I've not smelled before like Ammonia or bleach.. strong and pungent chemical-like.

I'm so worried that maybe it's leaking amniotic fluid and since it's been going on for weeks maybe I'm in serious trouble? My last u/s was the anatomy scan at 18 weeks and nothing was said then. I had an OB appointment 4 weeks ago and was measuring fine according to OB's measurements of my belly.

I will call but they are closed tonight and can't call until tomorrow, so I wanted to check here to see if you had any insights.

Appreciate any thoughts you have! Thank you!

Hi. Have you found out the cause yet? I am experiencing a similar vaginal odor. I just got my BFP yesterday.

Congrats on your pregnancy.

I am 17 weeks and 3 days pg today. I have a strange odor as well. I don't know how to describe it, but I did find that if I shower with "Summer's Eve" it will get me through the day at work without a smell, and than come home and shower again and I am good. Sometimes I even get an itching feeling down there too. I know TMI but I was curious if either of you experienced that either.
