Arin, Praying everything will be fine today. Keep us posted as soon as you can.
Heather, when it comes to discharge in pregnancy, I have no clue what's normal or not. I told the nurse I have more than ususal and she said, yes it's normal. Maybe when you sit or move your undies are moving too? Or maybe it's rubbing aginst you and your undies and moving or something? I have no clue, sorry.
Danielle, glad your shower was nice. How much does Presley weigh now? Let us know how your appointment goes.
Christina, congrats on the Steelers winning. I felt bad for the Cardinals and was going for them since they have never won a Superbowl in 61 years. Oh well.
Smv, you are so petite and look adorable in your pictures. No m/s here.
Diet, I know what you mean about the thump. I get those too and am confused as to whether it's the baby or a contraction too.
Amanda, I was just telling my dh last night that I get a little contraction when I have to pee. He lloked at me with a confused face. I have no idea as to why?
Lanos, I taught myself how to crochet on the net. I started with easy filet projects. But you need patience cuz you have to keep checking what and how to do a dc, sc, sl st.... For crochet lessons go to Crochet Guild of America: http://www.crochet.org/lessons/lessonr/lessonr.html
and here's some additional links:

I can't knit but I have this link saved on my pc for if ever I start one day:

Amy, it's normal to have anxiety and be impatient. I think it's easier for them to spot how many embryoes you have in early pregnancy. Don't worry about it. Do you want a singleton or prefer twins?

I definitely think the thump feelings are the baby/ies kicking. Contractions would have pain that goes along with them, right? I have tons of thumps...I don't there's any way those are contractions...if so, I better be worried!! But I'm not

Sandy - thanks for your input. I have an OB appt. next Tuesday so I'll just ask them about it when I go.
Amy - Did you go in for another beta today like you wanted to??
Christina - DH is a die hard Patriots fan so the superbowl wasn't as important for him but he was rootin' for the Cardinals. It sure was a good game!!!
Arin - good luck today!!!!!!!!
What do you all think of this theme for a neutral nursery? http://www.toysrus.com/largeImage/in...-3624329dt.jpg

I'm having a HUGE baby...lol!!!
Hello everyone! Hope all is well! Well, today was my mega doctor's appointment....non-stress test, ultrasound, 24 hr urine test, blood taken, and midwife appt. WHEW!! During my 30 min NST I ended up having 5 contractions which is a lot! All they could say is that I am having too many contractions to be normal. But again unless my water broke or I am leaking amniotic fluid...there is not much they can do.
Now my ultrasound...they wanted to make sure that I didn't have too much or too little amniotic fluid and I ended up measuring just fine so that was good. Now on the the baby's measurements! Well, today I am 32 weeks pregnant and Presley is weighing....(drum roll please).....5 lbs 14 oz!!!!!
The ultrasound tech said "Oh my, you are having a chunky monkey!" Her head is measuring that of a 37 weeks old baby and her belly is measuring like a 36 week old baby!!! She is a big girl for sure! When she was taking measurements (which she took 3 times to be sure) I was laughing so hard I was almost crying. When the tech was finished she said "You are 32 weeks and your baby is measuring on average that of a 36 week old...you need to bring this girl in once she is born so I can see her chubby cheeks!" Again, I kept laughing!
Anyway, I than saw midwife and she said the same thing that she can't believe Presley is so big and I will for sure have a c-section (which is what I was going to have anyway). She said that my blood sugars weren't abnormal only a few that were elevated but nothing to be concerned about but that Presley is feeding off of sugars from somewhere...question is where?? I will go in a few weeks to have some measurements again and hopefully she isn't too much bigger than. So bedrest still for me and another appointment next week!

Heather--I would say to speak to your OB also when you go in. I have a lot of the same and each time I ask they look and say it's normal. Just stock up on pantyliners is the best advice I can give you. Also, about the nursery...it looks at first glance like a boy's nursery. Sorry...don't mean to be debbie downer but that was my first impression! Since, I am home bound I will look at some bedding and send you suggestions for neutral is you like?? Just let me know!

Sandy, Thank you for the links. I'm going to ask my mom to bring me some nice wool tomorrow and then start working!!

Heather - Watch for discharge that is unusual in terms of quantity, color or if there's itching. Other than that, I think its all normal from what my OB has told me. Btw, I love the bedding. Its very cute. I've been looking at some neutral sets as well, and almost all of the ones I like have a jungle/animal theme similar to this.
Danielle - Woo Hoo on Presley being such as big girl. She'll be adorable! Have you had any 3D u/s pictures as yet? I saw some of a 24 week baby the other day and you could totally see the features. I plan to do one at 24 weeks and then again at 30/32 weeks. Great news on the amniotic fluid as well.
SVM - your belly pictures are adorable!!! You look great!!
Is a thump a baby kick? I thought a contraction is akin to a cramp? I get those when I don't go pee for a couple for hours like after a nap or at night.
So I have good news. Finally spoke to my OB this evening regarding my u/s on Saturday. The amniotic fluid has definitely gone up and its at normal levels.

Danielle: How adorable ..chubby cheeks
I just wanted advice from you'll. Have you'll started compiling list of things we will need for the babies, from car seats to clothes...what about infant toys etc? Are you'll just buying from Babies R Us or doing research? As we are not planning to do a shower I just wanted to start compiling list and buying stuff for my babies
