Success after using Lupron-Depo?
Hi all,
I was told I'd get more answers here. So...I have a few questions for those who went on to cycle successfully after anywhere from 2-6 months (I know it varies by person and by RE) of Depo-Lupron. I am considering starting a course of Lupron next month to suppress my immune system/endo and just in general reset my lining/hormones, etc. I have heard many success stories of women who went on to cycle after they finished treatment but what I'd like to know is specifics. For starters what protocol did your RE put you on after you were done with LD? From what I'm told you receive each LD shot 4 weeks apart from the previous one. So another question is when you were ready to cycle did you just start stimming 4 weeks after the last LD shot? I was told by one friend she started 5 weeks after the last shot. Did some of you actually have to wait for AF to return (which I am told after LD can take anywhere from 8-10 weeks from last shot)? I am just trying to find all of this out before I make the decision to even take the first shot because I would like to have a time frame in my head that I'm working with. Thanks for your help in advance!

hey whitley--i just happen to be over here, but you will probably get more responses on the infertility board under the endometriosis thread.
i did 4 months on LD and went right into an IVF cycle, no AF just right into stimming. we were successful. i have stage IV endo. the two cycles i did before LD were bfn's. i definitely contribute our success to LD. even though the side effects are HORRID i would def do it again! good luck!

Success after using Lupron-Depo?
These success stories offer so much hope & inspiration to all of us on this board. There are times when we cannot imagine with all our problems, that we will ever conceive. Well, we do, and the following stories prove that. The days that so many of us have where our dreams seem so far away and the reality of success fading, these are the times we search for and need hope - so often unable to find any. This thread changes that and allows us to find that hope any and every time we need it . are greatful for each pg woman or mother that shares her story with us here, it really does mean so much to us. There are many stories that have similar histories to us and perhaps even offer us some information that can help our individual battle to also become pg and become mothers

WOW, Jassy...amazing how similar it looks like our stories are. I, too, not only am in Baltimore but also I lost my first baby, a son, a week shy of the gestation you lost your DD! It was also my first IVF (after many BFN IUIs just like you). I hope the similarity continues and I get lucky with IVF#4 (which is what I'm on now) like you did. IVF#2 and #3 gave me chemical pgs both times. Thanks again for responding.
