Two tiny (beautiful) heartbeats xx

Hello everybody,

I have spent alot of time recently reading this site, and getting a huge amount of very useful information, particularly regarding IVF, PCOS and OHSS...as they all apply to me.

I want to share my fantastic news with you guys. Yesterday my husband and I went for my 6 weeks scan, and we saw two tiny tiny heartbeats from our precious twins. Our due date has been given as the 25th January, although I believe that the twins could actually appear 3 weeks or so before that?

Take care and good luck to everyone.
Keiko

CONGRATS!!! on your Twins!

I just had my twins May 9.. via emergency c-sec. IVF. I also had PCOS and slight OHSS.
Twins are normally here between 34-36wks.

Hugs!

Thank you so much for kind comments ladies.

We have had a very anxious few days since my last mail. I passed a large clot of blood on Saturday, which was followed since by a brown coloured discharge. We really have been worried sick.

One hour ago (7pm Singapore) my Doctor 100% confirmed that everything is still 'A' OK, and told us not to worry. Seeing them both on the scan was such a wonderful feeling...Thank God!

The Doctor said that the clot was most probably a wound that was picked up during the implantation, and because of my subsequent severe OHSS, the blood formed a clot which woul only be passed once the water level had receded sufficiently. And the Doctor is not overly concerned by the brown situation, which has now gone.

Please take care ladies, and the best of luck to you all xx

Keiko:

Congratulations, I know how thrilled I was when my RE told me that we were safe and I still have the voice mail from him saying I still had a viable pregnancy. All my prayers for your little ones!
Try to enjoy your pregnancy as best you can, when you have problems like that sometimes its hard not to worry all the time and you miss the wonders of the whole thing!

Again, glad to hear all is well and moving along!

Candy; you can probably tell that my mind is on other things (2 tiny twins to be precise). Please forgive me for getting your name wrong...2 times! It seems that everything is in 2's just lately?
