Hello ladies! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was busy busy busy!

Friday I got off work at 3 - then went home and we loaded up the car and headed up to the in-laws house. finally got there at like 9:30pm. i was SOOOO tired! Saturday was the surprise birthday party for my MIL. we told her the news before we left to go finish set up - she thought the party was for her sister so we didn't really have to lie about where we were going. LOL she even made some desserts for the party! It was a great surprise - she was crying and shaking she was so shocked! At the party we continued to tell everyone else. so now everyone knows, and theres no more hiding and it feels a lot better! Sunday we hung around and had a little cookout then we went fishing with our nephew and his friend. we all caught something so that was nice. Monday we came home - i ended up driving most of the way because DH was sooo exhausted and he needed to sleep since he worked last night.

The stress over the weekend for me - I forgot my endometrin. I called the emergency # for my RE and a dr called me back - they called in an Rx to the local CVS, and they didn't have it - the guy called all the pharmacies in the area (there's not that many) and they didnt have it either - then theybroadened the search to some biggers towns around the area - no go. so no endometrin all weekend. I was really worried and every little twinge or pain or anything i was worried about. DH didnt act worried - but i know he was. On top of that my allergies were acting up. i blew my nose so much that now its all dry and peeling - almost like it is sunburned! Ugh! So i've been released from my RE to My OB - should I call my RE or my OB and make sure they know? Should i schedule and appointment to go in and check or wait for my OB appt on the 10th? I'm concerned, but not trying to be stressed about it... when i got home yesterday i immediately went in and took one, and then took a 2 hour nap - then went over to DH's uncles house for a cookout and some pool time - although i just sat at one end with my feet in.. lol and i felt fine (although DH's aunt gave me some grief about the anti-nausea meds saying i shouldn't take anything at all i told her i am suffering through headaches and allergies- i'd like to at least be able to eat!)

Anyways - so opinions? What should i do?

ETA: just spoke with the nurse - she said i'll be fine and not to worry. she doesn't see any reason to medically have my OB appointment moved up, but if it would make me feel better then it wouldn't hurt. She said i'm far enough along that my body is producing enough, but they like their patients to stay on the supplements at least until 10 weeks to make sure. =)

so a big sigh of relief for me. =)

Hi ladies! My weekend was very relaxing except for the fact that I am completely exhausted and when I take naps, instead of feeling better I feel worse when I wake up. The nausea is really taking a lot out of me! On Sunday night I had a dream about puking and when I woke up I had my head over the edge of the bed like I was ready to puke. I have a feeling if I didn't wake up I would have totally puked right on the floor. I go in for my 7w u/s tomorrow and I am going to ask my RE for some Zofran so I can function. Wish me luck for tomorrow! I'm hoping that the nausea is a good sign that my little guys is growing like he/she should!

Mo - sorry about your nausea! I hope they give you something for it! You'll only get a few pills, so i would start off with taking 1/2 a pill when you start to feel the nausea. I take 1/2 a pill after i eat breakfast so there is something in my tummy - because usually an hour aftr i eat i get nauseous again. 1/2 a pill USUALLY lasts me until lunch - then i take another 1/2. the directions say take 1 every 6 hours - well i only get 12 at a time - that means if i only took 2 a day - thay wouldn't even last me a whole week. so i cut them in half. they last longer and it still seems to work for me. =)
Oh - and i took a nap yesterday afternoon - when i woke up i could have gone right back to bed! I hope i get some more energy soon - i need to get in the spare room and the office and start going through things for the yard sale next month!

Hi ladies,

I hear you on the nausea. Mine is really bad...I feel like I can barely function I have my little ones to look after. It's exhausting as well.
I have a Dr.s appt. soon so I think I will be asking for anti-nausea meds as well.
Not much new to report here. I was happy to have my U/S this past Friday. Baby looked great. I don't get one until 18 weeks so quite awhile!

have you already been released to your OB from your RE? Mine wanted to see me at 8 weeks, but at the time i didn't think i would be released yet - so my appointment is at 10 weeks.

BTW - whats the timeframe for appointments after you are released to the OB? monthly? then weekly? anyone know?

I feel so sick and tired myself. I have a runny nose and sore throat, plus I feel ready to vomit at any moment. I went this morning to have my teeth cleaned. That was fun. I basically feel like dung.

I have an US on Friday where they should be able to measure the heartbeat, after that I am supposed to schedule an appointment with my OBGYN for about June 16th or so.

My nurse said that the OB will only want to see me once a month. Can you imagine? Don't they know my little ones are accustomed to being thoroughly vetted weekly?

exactly! i mean - waiting until the 10th for my next appointment is killing me! i don't know what i'll do when they tell me to wait until JULY for my next appointment!

I hope you start to feel better soon. If you can't put up with the cold there are some things you can take - just ask your RE. i suggest curling up on the couch or in bed if possible. i know thats where i'd like to be right now! I think i will go home - feed the dogs, then go to bed! LOL

i know! It's seems forever between appts! My OB is only seeing me monthly.
And I only get one more U/S cause I'm pregnant with a singleton. (when I was pg with twins I got an U/S every 4 weeks)

oh boo! that sucks! not only are we deprived from our weekly visits, but now we are deprived from the weekly ultrasound! and they do all this cold turkey! *sigh* oh well. i guess i can lok at it in the way that since my RE is an hour away, and the OB will be about 40 minutes i'll be saving gas. LOL
