FET- When did you stop PIO?

Hi,

I am currently 10 weeks and although my I am off e2 because my levels are great I am to continue PIO. They weaned me from 1.5cc to 1cc and my levels went from 35 to 20 in four days. I am a bit freaked out but trying to stay positive. My ultrasound on Friday showed a perfect baby with strong h/b. I thought the placenta was supposed to take over at 10 weeks... ugh... there is ALWAYS something to worry about. I go back on Thursday to get my levels checked again!!!

Michele

I was weaned around 9 weeks. They switched me to vaginal prometrium for 2 weeks before stopping altogether.

My clinic does not continue to check levels once the hb is visable.

Good luck! They won't do anything that would risk your pregnancy!

I stayed on 2 shots (1.5cc) each daily of PIO until 14 weeks. That last week I was weaned off. I think mine went a little longer than most people because of some specific previous m/c issues. RE wanted us to be definately safe than sorry and whats a few more weeks of shots really...no big deal in the grande scheme of life.

Good luck!
