Question about cramps

HI,

I am in the 2ww and 11dpiui and CD27. I had some cramps this morning. I don't usually get cramps with AF, but when I do they aren't severe. The cramps this morning lasted less than a minute and were pretty bad and felt like the AF type cramps. My basic question is do the cramps feel like AF cramps or are they different? My whole abdomen hurt even just below my chest. I don't know what to think. Now, they are gone. I am thinking maybe they could be gas pains. Did anyone notice this during their 2ww?
Thanks for your time.

Cramps were my first MAJOR sign that something was dfferent this time. They started pretty much right after i O'd, and are now slowly starting to go away. I am now 6W3D PG!!!! I couldnt believe it, i could have sworn that AF was going to come early, because i never get cramps until the day that AF starts. But it never came. This was my first clomid cycle, i cant believe it. I would try to wait it out, i was so impatient and took 3 way too early tests and got BFN's before i got my BFP. GOOD LUCK.

Lotsa

Question

Hello, I am glad I found your post, I have a quedstion you may be able to answer. Today (friday) is cycle day 20. I ovulated on CD 17 (Tuesday). And now today I started having cramps. My breast are a little tender, but they have been off and on since I started clomid. This is my first cycle of clomid at 50mg. I am also on metformin for my PCOS. I am trying not to think about pg to much until I can test but now that I am having cramping I am wondering what is going on. Did you experience the cramping this early on. many people have written symptoms but have not said when they started having them. I would love to hear about your experiences.
Thank you Allie

After reading your posts, I felt the same exact cramping. Mine was moderate cramping I would say. I cant remember what day they started, but they have lasted the last five days or so. (today is day 31, so i guess maybe around day 25 or so. and I also didnt know whether AF was on her way w/ a vengeance or was PG. but great news. this morning after doing two negative HPT's on days 27 and 29, i got 2 + HPT (although one was a fuzzy plus). someone in another post told me that the cramps could mean you have a 50/50 shot. for me what was different, is usually when AF comes, i may get cramps 1 day before or the day of AF, but never so many days in a row. I hope and pray for you for a +!!
BTW this was my third try w/ clomid. (150 mg). i am going to be cautiously optimistic until I can confirm w/ my doc.

thank you for sharing!! I am still having cramps off and on and my boobs still are sore!!! I had my blood drawn today to check for Progest. leveland now I have to wait two more days to here back on that. I'm going to take the pg test on Friday.....I am nervously waiting! What were your progest levels out when they tested? Do you also have PCOS? When will you be able to see the dr?
