One of my twins will be ready by 3 but most likely not the other due to chronic constipation issues. Anybodys kids not ready by 3 to go to preschool? Does it make a difference Whether they wait until 4??

My twins didn't start preschool until right before they turned 4.

My odd was 5 (August b-day) in her first year of pre-school. My 2nd will be 4 when she starts next year and turn 5 March 2013. They will only go to one year before K. I teach them the basics at home. Do you SAHM or WOHM? I didn't know if that was what was pushing you to get them into pre-school. My odd was the first to read in her class and count to 100. My 2nd is already starting to show the same pattern of reading interest. Don't worry, not sending him to pre-school does not set him back for the rest of his life.

I guess because I thought that was the age they were supposed to start. I work two days a week at an urgent care clinic on afternoon shift. The rest of the time I am home with my boys. They turn 3 in July 2012. I'm due with 3rd and last baby in sept when school is supposed to start. Just curious if it made a difference to take them this year or next.

Yes I would talk to the school. If he is pee trained and not poop trained, they may agree to take him on the condition he wears pull ups and someone will come get him if he does happen to go.
Age wise it probably doesn't matter for preschool. I wanted them to go because I was working 3 days a week and I wanted them to get more socialization than they were getting at home with my mom.Janice
