Hi! I know, it's amazing to think the kids are 5! E is 43", 40lbs, 5t everything (although the pants are too big around the waist, but she has long legs), size 11 shoes. L is 44", 44lbs, 5t everything, and size 12 shoes. I think my kids are tall-ish...

Wish this board would get some action, would be great to talk with some parents dealing with same age kids.

    Take care.

    HI!!!!!!

Titus is 48" tall, about 70 pounds, size 10 undies and size 2 shoe.... woah! He had a "bout" of pre-k at a charter montessori but it just didn't stick, we're having some major behavioral issues, so maybe a late start pre-k program with the public school so he can have a "helper" in class.

Robyne, how is Erin liking kinder? Are there other late bday kids in the class? We gave ours the "gift of time" and they are in their 3rd year of pre-school, with an hour of pre-k before. They'll start kinder in the fall, 5 going on 6. Lot's of people here are waiting to start kinder these days, so if they had started 4 going on 5, they would have been very young. And frankly, they weren't ready anyway.

Sassafrass, when is Titus' bday? He's a big boy! So is he in preschool? I think it's always best to put them in school when they're ready not when their "age" says it's time, each kids is different.

Glad to see some action on this forum!

    Hi Lisa,

Erin is doing great in Kindergarten. She is one of the younger ones....but there are about 3 or 4 others who are also November birthdays.
All of her friends were starting....and they have been together in pre-school/daycare since they were three. I couldn't see holding her back, esp. since she is really at the same level as her friends who just happen to be a few months older.

Zoey starts kindy in the fall. She is so excited and I'm very very nervous. She'll be going to a spanish dual immersion school and I don't speak a word of spanish. So she'll be teaching me.

Sassafrass, titus is a big boy!

Tess will start K in the fall too. We have a Sept. birthday cut off. Tess is about 50lbs and wear 6-6x clothes. She's going to be tall like her oldest sister. I think she's in size 12 shoes. She's so much fun to be around.

It's great to see some update!!
