About LinkBacksI know he is not even 3 1/2 but big brother just turned 8 and younger DS is asking about HIS birthday and when it is-LOL! He said he wants an Indiana Jones party. HIs birthday is in late August before school really starts.
So far I am thinking an outside party. The kids could go swiming in the pool (and a lifeguard since I know the swimming skills of 4 year olds vary greatly), a treasure hunt (Indiana Jones themed with painted gold rocks, fake gems, etc...), zipping on the zip cord (like Indiana does), and perhaps photos with this HUGE boulder we have in our yard (and perhaps some sort of back drop like jungle theme). I know they make the cakes like Indiana Jones. Anything else that could be "themed" to this?

Well we are going to Disney less than 2 weeks after his birthday so there's not going to be a party this year. Plus his birthday falls on the Thursday of the easter long weekend, so I will just do a little something for him over Easter when we are with family. Get's it all done in one go!

Sounds like a lot of fun!!! I think the ideas sound great. We are just going to take cupcakes to dd's daycare class and have a party there with her buddies. If I do anything at home it will just be a cake and ice cream. If family wants to come and visit that is fine.
