Joe knocked over a mannequin in Old Navy . . .

and her arm broke off! Lordy, this boy is trying to do me in. He knew he screwed up, too, because he hid under the table afterward!

I am so sorry but I am sitting here laughing because I got the visual of your face shocked into an open mouth silent gasp. Did he run into it or was he playing with the clothes on it?
Kait is infamous for messing with the mannequins but so far none have met an ill fate like the one Joe took on.

Oh no! I would have been so mad...and embarrassed. What happened? I'm constantly telling the boys to stop touching, esp Christopher!!

I was in line to pay and didn't even realize what had happened until I saw the clerk TRYING TO REATTACH THE ARM, and Joe under the table. Honestly, he's ground me down to a nub and I wasn't nearly as embarrassed as I would have been two years ago. I just paid, took the girls, said "Bye Joe", and hoped he followed us out the door. Now I've become one of those people who seems not to notice that her child is up to no good!

Believe me, I'm laughing with you, not at you!! I can imagine the look on your face, but then can so see you walking out the door saying "Bye Joe!"

I can so see Caleb doing something like that.

Now Old Navy has a manequin that represents their physically disabled shoppers too! Old Navy should thank Joe for bringing them current and give his Mom a HUGE gift card!

Oh dear. I'm sorry, but I'm trying not to smile too. I can totally see that happening to me too! I hope the manequin was fixable! (I'm sure they've had far worse happen). Just so you know your not alone, last fall I had my girls at a mall and we were looking at snow globes in a Christmas store. Yes, one was dropped that was being held by one of my twins but "Bekah made me drop it" of course. We went on and picked what we wanted and they cleaned it up. We went up to the counter and I said, Now, girls, we have to pay for the snow globe too, because it's our fault that it broke. The clerk was so nice and didn't charge me for it, said so many people never offer to pay for broken items. HUGS. Hopefully another trip to Old Navy is not in your immediate future.

Okay, I cannot help but laugh!! I can feel your embarrassment!! Sounds like something my two monkeys would do. When I'm out shopping they are constantly under the racks giggling, and then IN the window displays!! They have yet to knock anything down but it makes me seriously consider leaving them at home the next time!! But I usually don't because I have to pay every time I leave them somewhere.

I love Tami's reply!

I really do feel your embarrassment! I'm sure you can chuckle about it now. We just had a big problem on an escalator, we used one for the first time. Now I can laugh but at the time was really embarrassed. Nobody got hurt thankfully!

LOL!! Kevin took the girls to LOFT to shop for my birthday last May. Tori knocked over a mannequin and it scared Jenna so badly she cried and hid under a table. And no, DH doesn't take them shopping very often, so imagine HIS expression. Oh boy...

I've definitely been caught in the "And where is the MOTHER when this is happening???" situations before. If they only knew how distracting 2, 3, 4 kids can be at once.
