My Mom :( (tomorrow 6/10)
Hi all thank you for all the thoughts and prayers. They mean so much to me. My Mom will be taken off the ventilator tomorrow Early evening.(not sure of as exact time as my Dad has to talk to the dr in the morning) Please pray for a painless passing and pray for strength for all of us~ (((hugs)))

 Oh Cecelia... I know i don't have the words, but just know I'm thinking of you and your family. I will be praying for your mom. I hope she is restful. Does she know what's going on?

Thank you, she has been sedated since Friday, But did wake up 2X over the weekend and was in extreme pain saying (lipping) help me and crying ect. My niece was in there once and she is 10. Sunday I was in there by myself they let the sedation run out! I was not happy and found out yesterday the dr didn't know about it!~
She knew it was coming time, last thursday she kept telling me let me go, the machine is prolonging my death ect.

Oh Ceceila, I too don't have the right words. Please know I will be thinking of your Mom and the whole family tomorrow, I know it will be such a comfort to her to have you all close by and know much she is loved by you all. I wish you continued strength.

I am so sorry that it had to come to this point. I will say a special prayer for you and your family tonight.
I don't know if this is comforting or not, but when we took my FIL off the life support, I was very surprised and relieved at how peaceful it was. It took a little longer than I expected, but his heartbeat just gradually slowed down, the way you would expect if someone was falling asleep. I hope you also find some comfort in knowing that she is okay with this, and that you are doing what she wants. As hard as it is, you don't have to add to the pain by second guessing whether she would have wanted to fight a little longer. One of the hardest parts of loving someone is letting them go when the time has come.

Cecelia, I am so sorry you are going through this with your MOM. Saying many prayers for you and your family and sending many hugs and much strength for the days, weeks, months and years ahead. It is never easy, just know that she loves you all, she is ok with it and she will no longer be in pain. It doesn't make it any easier. You all will be in my thoughts!
