Silly question I know..but just curious. And do you make the kids beds every day?
If I'm not in a rush to get out the door, I'll make the bed. But if I'm pusing it, I figure it will just get messed up that night when I go to bed! The kids don't seem to like me making their beds...they'll go in and tear it up soon after it's done.
I would say that recently, in my hectic life, that 90% of the time my bed hasn't been getting made! But I LOVE when it's made...it makes the room look so much nicer...so I've been making an extra effort.

i'd say 80% of the time i do make ds's bed. but it's not in the morning. it's when we get home from school. dh makes our bed most days (not mornings) b/c he's anal.

dh makes ours every morning. My twins occasionally "make' theirs themselves but otherwise, the kids beds are rarely made....I hate that....but it's just not something we've pushed much.

Our bed is probably made 20-30% of the time. I LOVE when it's made---the way it looks, the way the room looks so pulled together, the way it feels to get into it at night---but it's just not high on my priority list. I know that I put alot of things like that off because they were always drilled into us when we lived at home...I know, STUPID!
The kids' bed...well, it's difficult...they dont like sleeping under the sheet and comforter and the comforter is folded back and the sheet is pulled up. They lay on top of the sheet with a cover that is not tucked in as part of the bed. So, their bed is technically never made (unless, like this weekend for their bday, we have company). But, we do usually fold up the boys' cover and place it at the end of the bed.
I know it probably doesn't sound like it from this, but our house truely IS NOT a pig's stigh (sp?)!!

I don't do it perfectly, but yes, I make the beds every day. I can't stand looking at the bed when the blankets are all messed up. I actually make dh crazy because I sometimes make it while he's still in it!

Not often I am afraid... I love to see all the beds made but it is not a priority of mine, I do usually try and do it when I have put Cameron down for his nap in the mornings but most of the time I don't as I don't want Amy waking him up!

During the week it's unlikely to happen. . . I literally wake B up right before it's time to leave the house - and I'm usually thrashing to get out the door. By time I get home from work, we're only a few hours from bedtime! Weekends it moreso gets made.

Mine, NEVER! DH is always still in it! I do like to wash bedding fairly often so it gets made then. Tanner and Kenzie's beds don't get made much either...except right after washing. I love a made bed, I love how the rooms look with them made, but it is a never ending battle in our house, so I don't even worry with it anymore. I grew up having to make mine everyday...I hated it!

Making the bed is the one thing I am pretty anal about
DH drives me bonkers b/c he'll pull the sheets/comforter up (without tucking in the bottoms and folding the top down) and say he made the bed!!!! No, you pulled the sheets up; that is not the same as making the bed! I'd say our bed is made about 95% of the time -- ironically, I didn't get it made this morning
Julia is still in a toddler bed, and only has a fitted sheet with a blanket on top, so her bed does not get made. JR's bed rarely gets made, but it is something that we're starting to add to the morning routine.Cassie
