Hi Ladies
I'm still about and yes....still pregnant. I thought for sure the baby would be here by now. I am 38 weeks and today at my ob apt, I was 3 cm, soft with membranes bulging. He did a membrane stripping and holy crow did it hurt. My Doc thinks it won't be long. MIL has now been here and waiting for 2 weeks. I should get a wife of the year award for this. She is really great and doing so much for us and with Claire but just having that someone in your house to make conversation with everyday is tiring. My house is not my own right now. FIL is coming in from Calgary tonight. I do hope the baby comes soon so that we all have something to concentrate on. Claire is doing well. More and more words everyday. I told DH last night...no more swearing because she is repeating everything. She is starting to exert herself a little more and mealtimes have become a real battle. I went on the supernanny website and got some good tips and things have improved a little. She has also started to throw her toys when she is not getting her way. Other than that, she is doing great and is a happy girl.
I try to get online every couple of days and read up on everyone. I think of you all everyday.
Great news for you Nisa!!!! You sneaky bugger, your thread title had me going but I am so happy for you that you got the job. You deserve it.
How are the school girls doing...Morynn and Bake2perfection??? Teachers pets yet?
KL: Hope work goes well.
Suzieo: Many congrats!
And a big welcome to Vallycat......I think you fit right in!!!!!
Sunshine81: Happy Birthday and hope you are well. Its coming close for you too!
I know there are things going on for others that I haven't mentioned and I'm so sorry that I am not the most supportive friend right now. As soon as the inlaws vacate my computer/guest room I will be back in full force.
Anyhoo gotta run.....love you all![]()

Yeah Jenn!

So glad to hear everything is ok. Wow sound like it could be any minute for you to meet your little boy!
I think you should get a medal having your MIL in your home for that long. I would have packed my bags already!
Sounds like little Claire is doing everything normal for little ones her age. Amy is hitting the funny eating, the toy throwing.....
She sounds just perfect!
Good Luck with the birth coming up. Rest up while you can! Let us know as soon as you can.....

Hey Jennifer! I have been thinking about you constantly. Glad things are going well. It certainly shouldn't be too long now. At my 38 wk appt with Tanner, I was still 3 cm and was soft, too. He stripped my membranes and scheduled my induction for the next morning. I didn't even realize it, but I was already in labor the next morning with contractions every 5 minutes regularly! So, based on my experience, it should be any day! I am so excited for you and I can't wait to see pictures!
School is going pretty well. I wouldn't call myself the teacher's pet, but I would say that I am doing well above average in both of my classes, so far! That could change at any time though!
Much love and many
s! Take care.
