Jacob spent 3 nights at Cook Children's hospital

Most of you have seen all my updates on FB, but I know Monica doesn't "do" facebook so I wanted to share this with my FT family too!!!

Jacob at Cook Childrens Hospital | Facebook

I think you should be able to see the pictures even if you aren't on FB.

Over the holiday weekend we were at the lake and Jacob was on the back of our golf cart. He never, ever rides on the back without an adult, but this one time he was on there with Kyler and Kaden AND he was wet from swimming. I wasn't there, but apparently he fell off as soon as Billy took off. Well, Jacob says Kaden pushed him, which wouldn't shock me because those two are always fighting. He fell onto a gravel road.

Anyway, we took him to a local ER who dermabonded the gash. 2 days later we were admitted into Cooks for an infection.

He's doing great now. Will likely have a scar, but no lasting damage. He was so brave at the hospital. The nurses just fell in love with him. And mommy got some wonderful one on one time with him. So, some good came out of it too, I guess.

Looks like he'll be good as new in no time. Must have been scary to see him that sick.
