    Thanks everybody. She's okay, actually I 'made' her go to school today. Cuz I'm mean like that LOL! I figured she'd either sit home on the couch watching tv or sit at her desk and not miss school. She had a good day, lots of attention.

    Leigh, it is one of the more common bones broken in the body. Particularly for kids.
    It should take around 3 weeks to heal, but she should be feeling much better in a couple of days.

    Oh good, glad she's doing better. I was just hopping on to post asking for an update.

    You're EXACTLY like my Mom was, lol!!! Racial riots at my high school, 50% of the study body absent....I was there! School burned down in jr high, had to make up missed days on Saturdays, half the study body absent....I was there! I had to have a ferocious fever or be puking in order to stay home!
