    What's happening Wed.

My girls have no school the rest of the week. I think I read some others have a break also. How are you spending your week?

We're hanging out at home today. I'm going to catch-up on laundry and I'm playing organ for church tonight. Tomorrow we're leaving on a family vacation. We're going to Mackinaw. We're spending one night on Mackinac Island and two nights in Mackinaw City. We're hoping the colors will be at peak. The girls are excited!

Oh, I'm also looking forward to watching "The Middle" again tonight. I laughed so hard last week. I hope it's as funny tonight.

No break for us either. We will get the whole Thanksgiving week off so that will be nice.

I am a busy bee this week. Bunko is at my house tomorrow night, so I am feverishly trying to get finished setting up. I think if no one but me lived here things would be better but I am having a hard time keeping the kitchen cleaned up. I just don't want to be last minute because I work. I want it DONE tonight before I go to bed and dh and ds may not even be allowed in the kitchen, lol.

This weekend dh and I are joining friend at Fripp Island, SC for a fun kid-free long weekend at the beach. Looking forward to that! But I have not packed one thing. My parents will be staying at my house with John and getting him to soccer etc.

Jacob is running a fever....not sure what's going on. It just started yesterday. He has a cough and runny nose. So, I'm thinking flu since Kaden just got over it.

Today is my mom's b-day. We were supposed to go to her house for dinner and cake tonight.

Kyler has baseball practice tonight - even though it has been raining all week.

Kyler is out of school next Monady for Columbus day.

I'm supposed to go out of town for business on Friday (just for the day) and DH is leaving that morning for a fishing trip.

    Whew, what a week.

Spending my wednesday home with Luke. We are on fall break. I had planned on taking Wed through Friday off, but we will be stuck in the house. LUke is still running a low grade fever, but still don't want to get him around anybody

Tina. I wish it would've turned out differently for y'all. Peace to your family.

Hope, I hope that Luke's fever breaks and he's feeling better before his break is over.

For us, Maddie is out for some sort of 'student holiday' Friday and Monday. My girlfriend and her Mom invited us to meet them in Ellijay to check out the Apple Festival. So we'll probably do that. I also plan to get Maddie's Halloween costume made this weekend. She's chomping at the bit, even though I've reminded her that we still have plenty of time.

I've been casually working on getting Christmas shopping done. I'd like to find two of those Zhu Zhu hamster toys, but I'm not going to go nuts looking for one. The guy at Toys R Us this morning told me that they have a line outside the door every morning of people waiting to buy them. If I don't get one, no biggie. I have 3 things for M and 2 for C so far. Maddie wants a Razor scooter (she specified a 'girl one' LOL!) and Walmart has a pink one for $29, so I'm thinking that will finish her gifts off. Then just stockings to do; plus the mechanical hamster if I can find one.

    Hugs to you Tina.

Normal week for us here. I have a functioning kitchen now at least. It is nice to have a new stove!!!! The one I had was 30 years old.
But we opened the wall from the kitchen to the living roo, so that is still a mess. And we still have to pick out flooring and get that done. And paint too!

Not enough time in the day!

    Oh, Tina,

We have a normal week, also.

Tonight we have a soccer game. After I have to deliver Tupperware. Tomorrow and Friday I have Tupperware parties to close (I think this is a place I need to cut back or out.....but the extra money is sooooo nice ) Saturday my brother is getting married. I am the matron of honor. Friday night we are decorating the reception hall. Oh, and in there somewhere I have to go find shoes to wear to the wedding. The closest place, which probably won't have a good selection, is a 30 min. drive one way.

    Yea, a normal, busy week!!

Tina...I so wish things had turned out differently for you on so many levels.

Monica-how long does it take you guys to get to Mackinac? It must be a haul for you. And I'm JEALOUS, btw!! Are you staying at that famous resort....can't rememer the name. They've made several movies there.

Jesse's going to the Ronald McDonald house with my parents tonight. Their civic organization provides a meal there once a month and J typically goes with them. T-ball practice and a game on Saturday. I'm dreading Saturday b/c we're having unusually high temps (index is 98) for this time of year and his game is a 1:00. ICK! All month long county residents get in the lighthouse for free and J's finally tall enough to go outside at the top so maybe we'll do that Saturday after his game.

And best of all......T finally came home from Costa Rica and we'll be able to see him on Friday. I can't wait
