About LinkBacksI miss the freedom, and doing things (mostly errands) without the kids in tow. And taking adult vacations. DH and I used to go on great vacations; sailing, traveling wherever we wanted without worrying about babysitters, camping without worrying about whiney little ones. I also miss sleeping late, though there's an end in sight as Maddie can pretty much get up by herself, fix b'fast, and take care of herself and Charlotte without 'bothering' us.

Number one is sleeeeep! Alone/quality time with dh. No having to constantly feel like we have to been somewhere NOW!!

oh can I jump in here?
1) Sleep
2) going out on a saturday night without needing a babysitter(can never find one)
3) Hot meals without interuptions
4) More focus on me and dh

Date nights! Every Friday was ours to go out on a date. We often go out as a family but rarely go out, just the 2 of us anymore.

time with my dh like dates, movies, vacations. Especially going on vacation - we used to go to the Dominican Republic. But haven't been since 2002.

I miss just being able to go someplace and not worry about getting back in time to pick up the kids.
Going to the movies every weekend with dh or out to dinner just US. We have not been out on a date for 6 years and it has effected our relationship.
Having a conversation with dh or another adult and not getting interrupted

I also miss being able to go out (like even to just a movie) on a whim without having to plan ahead.
